TGIF! As you might have already heard, Barielle and Michelle from All Lacquered Up collaborated together on a really great collection for fall 2009. They came up with 12 polishes and I have to say there isn’t a single one that I didn’t like. A couple weren’t suited to my taste or skin tone, but all were really nice colors and a few knocked my socks off!

Today I am bringing you the first six in this collection. A word about formula. Fab. Barielle has a great formula and these are no exception. Almost all were just two coats. Check them out and see if you like!

Slate Of Affairs

Slate Of Affairs is a nice dusty slate blue with a pearl shimmer that flashes different colors, depending on the lighting. It’s very unique and totally suits my skin tone. This was three coats as it was a little more sheer than some of the others.

I swatched these quite awhile ago and just haven’t had the time to post them. They are just some random Barielle colors that I ordered. They run the gamut of colors and finishes but none really stole my heart unfortunately. Check ‘em out.

Amuse is a very pale frosty blue with a strong silver shimmer to it. It was fairly sheer so I used three coats. It didn’t blow my socks off though, I wish it had been more blue.

Evening peeps! Hope you are having a fun filled Saturday night! I had a great time in Napa today, the weather was so awesome. I ate a wonderful meal and went to an authentic European castle/winery in Calistoga (I want to share some pics with you of this so check for a new post soon!). Also got a wee bit of shopping in and got a ROCKIN leather Coach purse for $100 bucks at the outlet stores, yay! Ok enough about that, I also managed to do some swatching of Barielle’s new collection called Sugar Rush for summer. It’s totally gorgeous and I LOVE each and every color. It’s my favorite summer collection so far! Unless otherwise noted, the formula was really great on all of these. All pics taken in sun with no top coat.

TGIF! Barielle recently released their Spring 2009 collection, which is pretty tame but still pretty. You are not going to find any crazy, weird, odd, mind blowing colors in this collection,  rather more professional and muted colors. I think of these colors as perfect for: the job interview, your cousin’s wedding and colors Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl would approve of. I didn’t have any application issues with these whatsoever. I am really happy that Barielle put out this new “Shades” collection of colors because they really are nice! Happy Saturday! I am very excited to show you my swatches of the new Barielle Shades collection called Fall Affair. I had been unaware that Barielle had colors until I went to their website where they just announced them! They have six colors for this collection and I immediately ordered the four I liked best. Let me tell you folks, I haven’t been this impressed with a collection in awhile! Every one is truly a stunning shade and the formula is SPOT ON. They all just glided right onto my nails and all were fully opaque in 2 coats. They also all look like they GLOW, as though they’re lit from within. I cannot wait to see more from Barielle! I got them from their website which you can find here. They are very reasonably priced at $8.00 each and they have a deal where if you buy two colors, you get one for free! All my pics are two coats, taken in sun with no top coat. And let me say for the record I really loved all these colors so it’s hard for me to pick a fav. The pics are in order of what might be my least to most fav. Enjoy!

Secret Encounter

Saying this is my least favorite really means nothing because I still love it. It’s a beautiful shade of cranberry pink/red with a gold/silver shimmer. I think this is a great holiday color.
