Pixi Beauty has a new foundation out called Flawless Beauty Fluid that claims to blur fine lines, even out skin tone and erase blemishes. Are these claims accurate though?
Sort of! What this is is actually more of a tinted moisturizer, rather than a typical foundation. The coverage is pretty light and your natural skin will show through.
It’s oil-free and includes Vitamin E for moisture and anti-aging, Vitamin B5 to help soften skin and Kaolin to help mattify. It does includes some silicone’s, so if you are allergic keep that in mind…
You can apply it damp with a sponge for sheer coverage or for slightly more coverage, apply dry. Can be used over a primer or as is.
Pixi Succulent Lip Twin glosses have me thinking about a time when things were much easier in life back in the 80′s.
The style of this tube and the smell immediately make me remember my wide collection of Barbie and Barbie related items!
Succulent Lip Twins are a two-sided tube that contain a lightly colored lip balm in the tube and a corresponding slightly more opaque lipstick in the cap. They are very moisturizing as well containing Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil , Shea Butter and Vitamin E.
They come in four colors (Nude Lily, Coral Camellia, Pink Peony, Poppy Red) and contain 0.42 oz in the tube and 0.07 oz in the cap.
Now about that smell. It has this plastic-y scent that a lot of those cheap glosses made for kids smelled like back in the day. But for me this is not bad at ALL, in fact I love it!
Pixi Lumi Lux Radiance Powder is new for spring 2011, and in such cute packaging!
Lumi Lux is an illuminating powder which can be used on the face and decolletage to help brighten up and make your skin radiate.
It comes in a slide-out container, which I really like. The powder itself is a really nice design, with flowers and petals in rose, gold and light pink and a background of shimmery peach.
Pixi Winter Makeup Eyes Palette is a great, inexpensive gift idea (perhaps for yourself?) and is currently available at Target stores.
This little beauty comes in a pretty little green case and opens to an array of 12 shimmery, cool toned eyeshadow colors.
I’m also kind of loving the little Pixi logo on the inside mirror.
