Welcome to Vampy Varnish! My name is Kelly and I have been wearing nail polish and makeup since age 13 and I love it! I work a regular full time job that doesn’t really allow for a lot of creativity so I decided to start Vampy Varnish as a creative outlet. I am NOT an expert, nor do I claim to be in any way, shape or form. This is purely a hobby.
Vampy Varnish is dedicated to showing readers swatches and reviews of the latest nail polish brands and colors. I have a readership of over 75,000 visitors per month and am viewed in over 115 countries and territories.
This isn’t solely a nail polish blog though. I have a great passion for writing (English major here, holla!) and fancy myself as an amateur photographer. You will find other tabs that reflect this non-makeup side of me, but Vampy Varnish’s main focus will always be nail polish. What makes Vampy Varnish unique from other nail blogs is that I bring a very personal touch to the website, with pictures and personal stories. I feel this helps the reader get to know me and it’s also fun!
My life outside of the internet includes N___. (my husband), step-daughter, three crazy cats and one sweet old dog. You will see my animals featured regularly on my site as they are a huge part of my life. When I’m not working on my website, I read a ton (books, blogs and magazines), watch a lot of TV & movies and hang out at home fantasizing about all the remodeling I want to do to my house. Oh I also am a gigantic cupcake fanatic!
