Welcome to Vampy Varnish! My name is Kelly and I have been wearing nail polish and makeup since age 13 and I love it!

Vampy Varnish is a nail polish and cosmetics blog dedicated to showing readers swatches and reviews of the latest collections and brands. I have a readership of 300,000 visitors (150,000 unique) and 700,000+ pageviews per month.

I work a regular job that doesn’t allow for a lot of creativity so I decided to start Vampy Varnish in September of 2008 as a creative outlet. I am not an expert in any way; this is purely a hobby. For now.

Fun facts (as of February 1, 2012):

- I have had over 2,700,000 visits and 6.3 million pageviews in the 12 months.
- Since August 2009 (when I added Google Analytics) I have had over 10 million pageviews.
- I have visitors from 202 countries/territories (Top 10 countries are: US, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Singapore, Netherlands, France & Sweden).
- I have published over 1,776 posts.
- My first post was published on September 7, 2008.
- I have over 50,180 comments.
- I have posted over 9,620 photos.

My life outside of the Internet includes Mr. VV (my husband), my stepdaughter and three crazy cats. You will see my animals featured regularly on my site, as they are a huge part of my life.

When I’m not working on my website, I read a ton (books, blogs and magazines), watch a lot of TV & movies and hang out at home fantasizing about all the remodeling I want to do to my house. Oh I also am a gigantic cupcake fanatic.

You may wonder what my favorite nail polishes are. I have SO many it’s hard to narrow down the list but I will pick my top ten (for now).
