MAC Work It Out Collection

Happy hump day people! Today I’ve got the MAC Work It Out Collection for you.

As a child of the 1980’s (I was ages 8-18 then) I have to say, I am exceptionally happy with the look of the MAC Work It Out Collection! The black and white checkers and stripes with pops of neon packaging screams “THE BEST DECADE EVER!” and what’s inside ain’t too shabby either.

This collection has a workout, “let’s get physical” theme and lots of very bright fun colors. This isn’t for the typical Bobbi Brown subtle makeup fan. This is for those who want to add some fun and lots ‘o’ color onto their faces. It consists of 4 Lipsticks, 6 Crystal Glaze Glosses, 3 Studio Quiktrik Sticks, 6 Chromagraph Pencils, 3 Prep + Prime Fix+ Sized To Go bottles and a mind-boggling 17 super colorful In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascaras!

Totally tubular, right? I am completely, madly, in love with the mascaras and liners. They are so pigmented and in so many awesome shades! If they had had this many colored mascaras in the 80’s, man I would have been begging for an increase in my allowance, haha! The mascaras really do show up on the lashes as the color they represent. Sometimes colored mascaras fall flat, but these ones are good, especially the brighter ones. The liners are really good because they are very smooth and they apply without any tugging or having to go over them 10,000 times to get the color to show up (except Rich Purple which was a wee bit crumbly). I don’t love the Crystal Glaze Glosses since they are basically just a clear gloss. Testosterone is a really nice pinky coral lipstick and decent pigmentation for a lustre formula. I wish they would have done some nail lacquers with this collection. Speaking of that, they haven’t had any nail lacquers in awhile…What’s up with that?

You can find the MAC Work It Out Collection starting tomorrow, March 2nd on their site and in stores.
