MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour

Happy Friday, we made it!

A few weeks ago I showed you some MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour swatches of a few shades I picked up. Well now I have some more (plus a couple repeats) since MAC sent me some for review and I thought you might want to check them out.

As previously mentioned there are now about 15 shades in the lineup, and many of them are new ones. A lot of the new ones are muted, dusty colors, which happen to be my favorites at the moment. And we have some deep, vampy ones as well.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour

Flesh Stone, Cafe Au Chic, Dash O’ Spice, Burnt Spice, So Me

Flesh Stone is a light greyish taupe.

Cafe Au Chic is a greyed out beige.

Dash O’ Spice is a yellow beige.

Burnt Spice is a dirty rose pink.

So Me is a dusty plum/rose.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour

Topped With Brandy, Carnivorous, Chocotease, Young Attitude, Uniformly Fabulous

Topped With Brandy is a dark muted rose.

Carnivorous is a blackened red.

Chocotease is a deep chocolate brown.

Young Attitude is a dark blackened teal.

Uniformly Fabulous is a dark blackened grape.

While I like pretty much all of these shades (except Dash O’ Spice, which looks horrific on me) my favorites are pretty much all the ones I previously showed you. I do also really love Burnt Spice as well though – it’s one of those “must have” shades if you love a muted rose like I do. The darker ones don’t apply quite as evenly and nicely as the lighter ones, though you can get them even with a few more swipes. Young Attitude is definitely the most unique one!

You can find these on the MAC site now and they are $21.00 each.

See anything here you will be picking up? Do you like muted colors like these?
