Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Eye Shadow Palette

Hello and a happy Tuesday to ya!

Tomorrow the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Eye Shadow Palette, which is an Ulta exclusive, will arrive online and I have the details and some swatches for you.

This palette features nine new eye shadow shades in a warm-toned peanut butter and honey theme and they are all infused with their cocoa-powder formula. It smells yummy to me, and I am NOT a fan of peanuts or peanut butter. It’s not overly sweet or cloying to my sniffer – it smells lightly of peanut butter, the sweetness of honey and maybe some chocolate. It comes in a cute metal palette featuring their Glamour Guide with three looks inside: Sweet As Honey, Queen Bee and PB&H.

Going Nuts, Bee’s Knees, Feelin’ Nutty (over primer)

Going Nuts is a dark chocolate cherry.

Bee’s Knees is a deep burnt orange with gold shimmer.

Feelin’ Nutty is a deep warm brown matte.

Here are my thoughts. It’s ok, not awful not great. Some of the lighter and medium matte shades were harder to get to swatch evenly, they seemed a bit patchy. The three lighter ones were very light. The second row features some interesting shades, especially Honey Buns, but the last row seemed to have the nicest finish of all the shadows. The stand-out shade here for me was Going Nuts, amazing pigmentation and very even. Most of these shades in the second and third rows are all too warm/yellow-y for my skin tone, but they may work great for other peeps!

You can find the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Eye Shadow Palette at Ulta and Too Faced on 3/1 and in Ulta stores on 3/19 and it’s $36.00.
