MAC Charlotte Olympia

The MAC Charlotte Olympia Collection is one of the classiest looking MAC collections I’ve seen in awhile. Classy and yet still cool/edgy because of the little gold spiderweb design on the packaging, which makes it kind of classy/goth-esque. In other words – I love it!

Charlotte Olympia is a shoe and accessory designer who is inspired by old Hollywood glamour. And cat ladies, listen up. There are A LOT of super cute cat items on her site that of course now I want, but can’t afford! Um hello Brogue Kitty Flats at $845.00!

Charlotte Olympia Cat Flats

There are like 10 pairs of cat flats I want, wah!

MAC Charlotte Olympia Lipstick

Here are the three lipsticks in the collection, which they didn’t have samples of to send me, but aren’t they gorgeous looking? This clear lucite-looking packaging makes me swoon.

MAC Charlotte Olympia Studio Nail Lacquer To Have Or Have Not

To Have Or Have Not

To Have Or To Have Not is a classic red creme. This had a great, easy-to-apply formula and covered in two thin coats.

MAC Charlotte Olympia Studio Nail Lacquer Old Fashioned

Old Fashioned

Old Fashioned is a deep burgundy red creme. This also had a good formula but I did need three thin coats for more even coverage.

MAC Charlotte Olympia Golden Age Cream Colour Base

Golden Age

Golden Age is a metallic antique bronze.

The Studio Nail Lacquers are both in beautiful octagon shaped bottle with a long, gold cap. I happen to think they are gorgeous, though they do take up more space than a normal bottle. But they fit the collection so well, and both these colors are definitely very old-Hollywood. The Colour Cream Base on Golden Age is a very pretty antique gold, but I tend to shy away from these since they are so emollient and I already have enough issues with eyeshadow creasing. Even with a primer these tend to crease on me too quickly. The Makeup Bag is totally adorable! It’s white on both sides and then surrounded by aqua blue on the edges and bottom. It has four fingers (with painted nails, of course) on the front and one on the back, which mimics your hand holding the bag. And the zipper has a little gold spiderweb design. Cute!

This collection will be limited edition and available March 24th at selected MAC locations and online.

Is there anything from this collection you will be picking up?
