Carolyn.K Nail Paint

Howdy partner! Hope your week has been great thus far!

Today I’ve got a new-to-me brand called Carolyn.K London. As the name implies, this is a 100% British brand, so you know I am partial to them right off the bat. 😉 The brand was started about 10 years ago by professional makeup artist Carolyn K and the shades are all named after her friends and family. The shades I have today are from their “From London with Love” collection, which features twenty colors.

I found the formula to be really rather good with all of these. I swatched them all over a ridge-filling base coat, and each one was two coats. A couple of the lighter shades probably could have used three thin coats rather than two, but that’s my only complaint!

Carolyn.K Armineh

Armineh is a medium beige creme. This could have used a thin third coat, but it’s a nice shade.

Carolyn.K Anet

Anet is a pale pink creme. I don’t know why but I really love this one and that’s unusual for me. It’s a very whitened pink, which I like.

Carolyn.K Lynda

Lynda is a medium bubble-gum pink creme. It was very even for this kind of color, normally I need three coats of these kinds of pinks.

Carolyn.K Bianca

Bianca is a super bright yellow creme. It’s not quite neon but very vivid. We all know yellows are usually the problem child in the bunch because they tend to be streakier. This one was more even than most on me though I could have used a third coat.

Carolyn.K Taline

Taline is a bright blue creme. This one leans a little towards a teal blue, but it’s more blue than green. Another one I really like but I should have added a third coat.

Carolyn.K Helga

Helga is a deep grey creme. Perfection! I love this shade, I’m such a sucker for a grey. This was perfect in two coats.

Carolyn.K Alenoush

Alenoush is a bright red creme. Nice shade, good coverage in two coats.

Carolyn.K Alice

Alice is a magenta pink with hidden shimmer. Wowza! This is a stunner in person. I wasn’t aware it even had shimmer, so basically you should think of it as a creme. Gorgeous shade!

Carolyn.K Huby

Huby is a deep blue/teal creme. Loving this unusual shade! This leans more towards a blue than green and it was two coats.

Carolyn.K Anais

Anais is a bright blue creme. Not quite a cobalt blue, but close. Great color and just two coats.

Carolyn.K CJ

CJ is a midnight blue with blue and purple shimmer. It’s super shimmery and quite lovely! Excellent formula, it nearly covered in one coat.

Carolyn.K Golden Girls

Golden Girls

Golden Girls is a full-coverage gold glitter. This was two coats and it covered really nicely and evenly.

Carolyn.K Nail Paints

I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to test these out because they are a really great brand and have a good price to boot. My personal favorites are Anet, Helga, Alice, Huby and CJ.

You can find these on their website and they are $10.00.
