Essie Flowerista for Spring 2015

I recently picked up a few shades from the Essie Flowerista spring 2015 collection and thought I would share them with you.

This collection in its entirety includes six new shades and it’s actually a collaboration with designer Rebecca Minkoff. I believe all six shades are cremes. Blossom Dandy and Petal Pushers were the two that really stood out to me so they were the ones I snatched up.

Essie Flowerista for Spring 2015-2

Petal Pushers. Blossom Dandy

Essie Petal Pushers

Petal Pushers

Petal Pushers is a medium purple/grey/blue creme. They call it a “slate” colored shade and that’s pretty accurate. It’s rather unique I think and really unusual and flattering. The formula was pretty good I only needed two coats and it was self-leveling and smooth.

Essie Blossom Dandy

Blossom Dandy

Blossom Dandy is a light blue creme with a slight mint green look to it. This is a lovely shade but it had a thick formula. The formula wasn’t really hard to work with but it doesn’t self-level out like Petal Pushers did on me.

You can find these at Ulta and other places Essie is sold and they are $8.50.

What do you think of these two shades? Will you be hunting them down?
