Pacifica Wipes

Pacifica has some new products out that I think some of you may be interested in. They are Underarm Deodorant Wipes and Essential Makeup Removing Wipes and only available at Ulta.

Wipes are like the ultimate thing for the lazy, yes? And I don’t say that as a bad thing necessarily because I am definitely lazy when it comes to beauty and skin care, especially in the summer.

Pacifica Underarm Deoderant Wipes

Underarm Deodorant Wipes have a blend of natural essential oils and coconut milk in them. They are biodegradable, aluminum-free and have a light, fresh coconut scent. They have no harsh chemicals in them and are vegan to boot. These are a great option to take along with you because they are so lightweight, but they aren’t an antiperspirant.

Alright so I don’t really sweat that much. In fact I usually don’t even need deodorant in the winter at all. The only times I’m ever super sweaty are: If I am in the south (God help me then), if I am exercising heavily or when I’m blow-drying my hair in the summer in my stifling hot, windowless bathroom. So for me, aside from those instances I mentioned, these totally do the trick. Just swipe under the arms and that’s that. They also didn’t leave any white residue on my clothing which is my #1 pet peeve with deodorants, including “invisible” ones. I would say if you are a very light “sweat-er” then these might work for you. Otherwise you might wanna stick with your regular deodorant.

Pacifica Essential Makeup Removing Wipes

Essential Makeup Removing Wipes are also biodegradable and vegan, and are infused with coconut milk, jasmine, aloe vera and jojoba oil. They smell light and refreshing and do a fairly effective job of dissolving light makeup.

I’ve been using them for wiping off swatches during swatching sessions lately and they work well for the most part. They aren’t quite as powerful as my standard MAC Wipes though. When it comes to tougher items like long-lasting lip colors, waterproof liners or dark eyeshadows, they don’t remove as easily and I have to rub quite a bit to get it all off. So I wouldn’t use these to remove a full face of makeup, but maybe as a refresher or if you are barely wearing any makeup. They don’t leave my skin either dry or greasy feeling, which is good.

You can find both of these items at Ulta (only) and it’s $10.00 for the Underarm Deodorant Wipes (30) and $6.00 for the Makeup Wipes (30).

Are either of these anything you might check out?
