Hello! Sorry there haven’t been many nail posts lately. I have a had a couple of very low breaks on my swatching hand and they just haven’t been in great shape. Despite the fact that they are still extremely short I decided I better get going on some swatching lest I drown in nail polish!
The new JINsoon Tila March Collection for Spring/Summer 2015 is a collaboration between Jin Soon Choi and designer Tamara Taichman of Tila March. They worked together to create these five shades which are also represented in the Tila March patent leather bags and sandals.
I can tell you right now that going for the nail polish is the most wallet-friendly option to get these colors in your wardrobe because the Handbags are between $320-$550, the JIN Vanity Case is $550 and the Sandals are $395. That makes the $18.00 nail polish seem like chump change! 🙂
Doux is a pale powdery pink/nude creme. This one was on the thick side and it didn’t level out all that great. I needed three coats to get it completely covered.
Charme is a pale lemon yellow creme. Such a gorgeous citrus lemon shade! This too was three coats but it was a thinner and easier to work with formula than Doux.
Enflammée is a bright orange creme. Great formula, just two coats.
Tila is a dark teal green creme. This is what I always call a “chalkboard” green shade and I really like it. The formula was excellent and it was just two coats.
Farouche is a bright purple/pink creme. Not my kind of shade but it had a nice formula and covered with just two coats.
I think the stand-out shades are Charme and Tila but Enflammée and Farouche were also nice, just not that unique.
Which ones are you digging?
