The Pretty Serious Naileontology Collection is a new, ongoing collection which just recently went on sale and I’ve got some swatches for you today!
The official word from the brand themselves: Introducing the latest ongoing collection from Pretty Serious – Naileontology! We’ll be unearthing vintage classics and creating new works of art inspired by these long lost treasures! Each selected vintage shade will be tirelessly reworked to give each polish our flawless Pretty Serious formula as well as touch of our own unmistakable style.
This collection is the brainchild of Kaz Harris, Owner of Pretty Serious and blogger at Pretty Random, a vintage nail blog. Pretty Serious has always been inspired by the brands that shook the nail world back in the 90’s with edgy never before seen shades and in your face marketing campaigns and our brand new Naileontology line is an extension of her obsession with all things discontinued! Kaz has dug deep into her stash of thousands and selected three of her favourite long gone shades to restyle with Pretty Serious flair, and we know you’ll find the results absolutely breathtaking!
I cannot disagree with anything they said, these shades truly are breathtaking!
The Dragon’s Curse has an apple green base and loads of yellow and gold shimmer. Stunning, truly stunning! I couldn’t stop staring at my nails with this shade on. The formula is great and covered in two coats.
Khepri’s Amulet is a deep emerald green with heavy golden shimmer. This is a very mermaid-like shade and it’s really gorgeous in person. Another one with a great formula which covered in two coats.
Eye Of Copernicus is a dark, inky blue with tons of light blue and silver micro-glitter. This really reminds me of the night sky, so sparkly. This was two perfect coats.
Three gorgeous shades with great formulas! I mean what can I say, I really love all of them. If I had to pick just one favorite, I would go with The Dragon’s Curse.
You can find these shades on their website now and remember their polishes are five-free, cruelty-free and vegan!
Which ones are you lusting after?
