OPI Soft Shades 2015 Collection

The OPI Soft Shades 2015 Collection features six new shades, which I have for you today.

As the name says, these are all pale and soft colors. Some are sheers, one is a frosty metallic, one an iridescent shimmer and one a very cool and unique glitter topper.

OPI Act Your Beige!

Act Your Beige!

Act Your Beige! is a very pale and sheer pink/beige creme. Man did this one give me grief! This is FOUR thin coats. Love the color and how clean my nails look, but the unevenness drives me nuts.

OPI Petal Soft

Petal Soft

Petal Soft (over Act Your Beige!) has a clear base and white and pale pink glitter including large flower shaped glitter. I LOVE this one! Now I’m not going to pretend I didn’t have to place each one of these flowers where I wanted it, but it’s so cute and unique!

OPI Chiffon My Mind

Chiffon My Mind

Chiffon My Mind is a pale pink/white with iridescent shimmer. I love this color but again I had issues with it being uneven. This was three coats.

OPI Put it in Neutral

Put it in Neutral

Put it in Neutral is a sheer neutral pink. This wasn’t as uneven as Act Your Beige! but you can definitely still see areas where it didn’t cover well. This was three coats.

OPI This Silver's Mine

This Silver’s Mine

This Silver’s Mine is a light beige/silver metallic/frost. Not a fan, this was very brush-stroke-y. This was two coats.

OPI Make Light of the Situation

Make Light of the Situation

Make Light of the Situation has silver and iridescent micro-glitter and it’s pretty sheer. It is buildable but this is three coats, so it would make a better topper I think.

OPI Soft Shades 2015 Collection

The only one I can truly say I love is Petal Soft because it’s so cute and fun. All the others (except Make Light of the Situation) gave me application problems. I could probably fix most of the problems by using a white base coat or something, but I am just too darn lazy for all that! čśë

You can find these shades at Ulta and other places now and they are $9.50 each.

See anything here you want to pick up? Do you prefer more color on your nails?
