Lypsyl Bee Smooth

Lypsyl Bee Smooth Silky Swedish Beeswax Lip Balm is a prime example of something I bought purely for the packaging. Oh and because it said “Swedish.” Seriously, I don’t get out much.

But you know what? I have no regrets because it wasn’t expensive and it turned out to be a pretty good lip balm. They also have a HoneyBerry and Chamomile & Honey flavor. Here is the official word from their website: Sweden’s #1 best selling lipbalm, Lypsyl is the only lipbalm made with deep penetrating Silky Swedish Beeswax for long lasting moisture you can feel. Our natural ingredients include shea butter, elderberry, coconut oil, aloe, chamomile and honey, and vitamins A and E, to quickly soothe and condition your extra dry, sore lips.

Sounds good, yes?

Isn’t this little bee cute? This is how you slide the product up.

Lypsyl Bee Smooth-2

It has a nice minty smell/taste and feels very light on the lips. It’s not thick like Jack Black Lip Balm is, it has more of a Blistex type feel. I’ve been wearing it lately during the day time and like it. I don’t think it’s quite enough hydration for me 24/7 though, since I do have super dry lips. I still like my Jack Black for very chapped days and at night time. The good thing about it is that it’s not greasy so it’s a great consistency to wear underneath a lipstick for extra hydration. Plus it’s cute. And it’s Swedish. čÖé

You can find this and their other products on their website or at Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, Walmart, Duane Reade, etc., and it was less than $3.00.

What is your current go-to lip balm?
