Misa Blueberry Blast with NOPI Stars At Night

The other day I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and saw a manicure that Victoria from Manicurator did. I fell in love with it and wanted to create something similar.

I was in the mood to wear a super light sky blue so I picked Misa Blueberry Blast as the base shade. Then I decided to try out Nicole by OPI Stars at Night over it, which is a holographic confetti glitter in a clear base. I just dabbed Stars at Night on the outsides of the nail, leaving the center clear of the glitter. Then I added a second coat of the confetti glitter and topped it off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Quick Dry Top Coat.

I love the way it came out! It just something a little different from the typical glitter on the tips or at the base fading out types of manis I see a lot. Did that make any sense? I feel like it didn’t so here at some pics I did in 2012 of what I’m referring to.

I still like the way this looks, but I like to mix it up a bit sometimes too.

Do you ever wear glitter topped nails like this?
