The Morgan Taylor Halloween Collection for 2014 might look simple, but sometimes simple is good!
This collection consists of just two shades and a top coat. The shades are predictably a black and an orange. But Morgan Taylor has such a good formula that these are really good basic shades. 😉
Little Black Dress is a jet black creme. Yeah we’ve seen jet black cremes a zillion times but usually they are not just one coat. This one is! This is super pigmented, totally smooth and just perfect. It’s pretty shiny as well. Perfect for Halloween nail art.
Orange Crush is a neon orange. This is a new shade. This is super neon. It has a really good formula and I only needed two thin coats for complete, even coverage. Since it’s a neon, it dries to a matte finish.
Here is Orange Crush with their Make It Last Top Coat, which is super glossy and has a wonderful scent. Yeah I said it, I love the smell of this stuff. It smells just like China Glaze Fast Forward, which has this very distinct almost plastic-like smell. I’m weird. Anyway, you can see how glossy it gets, but it’s not a quick-drying top coat. Wah.
And then I decided to do a little nail art using some new spider web Stuck on Love Nail Shields that I bought from Love, Angeline. I bought a few different styles of the Nail Shields and Decals from her, they are super cute!
So you see, you can still have fun with just black and orange!
You can find this collection for a limited time beginning in October in select salons as well as at LoxaBeauty.com.
