Michael Kors Spring Lip and Nail Duo

I wasn’t even aware that there was such a thing as the Michael Kors Spring Lip and Nail Duo until I went to my local CCO (Cosmetics Company Outlet) and saw it. In fact there were three of these sets, but this was the one that stood out to me the most because of the blue nail shade. The set at a CCO is $25.75 and if you find it elsewhere it’s $32.00.

Included in these little duos are a full-sized (I think) Nail Lacquer shade and a Lip Luster shade. They are both decorated with theĀ  gold Michael Kors caps, which makes them look extra fancy. Too bad they are plastic and not metal! These shades are not sold separately, just so you know.

Curtain Call, Scene-Stealer

Michael Kors Nail Lacquer Curtain Call

Curtain Call

Curtain Call is a medium cobalt blue creme. The square cap does come off the top for an easier application, which is always good. I found this polish to be a little on the thinner side but it did cover really nicely and evenly with just two coats. It’s on the darker side of cobalt blue, so don’t expect anything really bright or intense. But it’s still rather pretty.

Scene-Stealer is a bright orange gloss with gold shimmer. I really didn’t expect to like this as much as I do! It actually smells like an orange to me as well. It’s super glossy, super shiny and super pigmented. I think I like it more than the polish, which was a nice surprise.

You can find this a couple places other than your CCO if you are interested. Check out Macy’s and Michael Kors.

Have you ever seen any of these sets and been tempted by them? Do you own any Michael Kors makeup?
