Garnier Nourishing Cleansing Oil

You guys, there is a new love in my life and it’s yet another oil product. This time it’s the Garnier Clean+ Nourishing Cleansing Oil for Dry Skin.

On a whim I decided to purchase this when I was at CVS. I’ve been on such an oil kick lately and it seemed like a really great idea. I’ve never tried an oil cleanser before and I am really surprised that I am completely loving it!

Here are some details about this delicious potion:

  • It contains jojoba and macadamia oils
  • It’s dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested
  • It’s non-comedogenic
  • It’s gentle and allergy tested
  • It removes even long-wear makeup
  • It smells AMAZING

Garnier Nourishing Cleansing Oil-2

The idea of spreading oil around my dry face seemed so weird to me. Like counter-productive, you know? But I pumped two pumps into my hands spread it across my face, including massaging it over my eyes to loosen up eye makeup. Then I got a cloth wet with warm water and wiped it all off.

It removed all my makeup with no problem or having to tug on anything, and my skin felt SO soft and moisturized afterwards. You know how sometimes you wash your face then it feels tight or looks so matte-ish that you want to immediately put on moisturizer? This doesn’t leave your skin feeling like that at all. It’s not that it leaves behind a film, but it leaves skin feeling like you just moisturized it.

And it smells so good! I cannot even begin to explain the scent, because I have no idea what it smells like. I just know that it’s great.

Maybe because this whole cleansing with an oil concept is new to me, but I actually look forward to washing my face with this every night now.

You can find this at your local CVS, Target, Walgreens, etc. and it’s about $7.99 for 4.2 oz.

Have you ever tried a cleansing oil before?
