New and just in time for summer picnics is theBalm How ‘Bout Them Apples? Cheek & Lip Cream Palette.

This palette features six creamy shades you can use on cheeks, lips or both! Of course it comes in a super cute, heavy-duty cardboard palette that opens up to a large mirror and six cowboy type dudes next to each shade.

Cider, Cobbler, Pie, Crisp, Candy, Caramel

Cider is a light nude/pink cream.

Cobbler is a deep red cream.

Pie is a bright warm pink cream.

Crisp is a shimmery peach.

Candy is a bright cool-toned pink.

Caramel is a medium reddish/brown cream.

The shades are all very flattering ones and feel super creamy and nicely pigmented. I really like them for cheeks because they create a nice natural looking flush. For the lips while they look nice on, they feel a bit drying to me. I would probably only use them on my lips in a pinch because I feel like after an hour or so my lips would feel really dry. They seem super creamy when you put your finger in them and blend into cheeks, but somehow it loses that feeling on the lips.

Is this a palette you would try or do you prefer your cheek/lip products separate?
