LVX Summer 2014

Today I am happy to bring you the LVX Summer 2014 collection.

This is actually my first experience with the brand and I really like everything thus far. LVX is a luxury nail line that is 4-free, cruelty free, vegan and made in the USA. They have about 54 nail shades that all come in a 0.5 oz bottle with a removable cap. The shades are priced at $16.00 each.

LVX Summer 2014

LVX Porcelaine

Porcelaine

Porcelaine is an ivory creme. This is another lovely slightly off-white creme. I have been seeing many of these lately and I adore them. The formula was great and not streaky at all with two coats.

LVX Lemondrop

Lemondrop

Lemondrop is a pale lemon yellow creme. Lovely yellow shade. This one was a little on the streakier side (as most yellows are) but three thin coats mostly evened that out.

LVX Lolli

Lolli

Lolli is a light pastel pink. Another one with a pretty good formula, this is two coats.

LVX Laguna

Laguna

Laguna is a bright sky blue creme. Beautiful shade and great formula with two coats.

LVX Aster

Aster

Aster is a medium lilac creme. Really great formula again, and this was two coats.

LVX Viola

Viola

Viola is a deep indigo blue creme. It’s not as bright as a cobalt, but definitely says “BLUE”! Great formula, two coats.

I’m not sure any of these shades are completely unique, but they do have a really good formula and I didn’t run into any problems other than some mild streakiness with Lemondrop. I like the bottle shape (yeah that’s a small thing, but it’s something) and I love that the square caps come off for easier application.

Do any of these shades make your wish list?
