Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick

New for summer 2014 is Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick. And can I just say – YAHOO!!!!

The first time I saw a press image for these I think I squealed. They looked SO melty, colorful, intense and amazing. And they really are.

So what is this beautiful witchcraft? It’s a combination of a lip stain, liquid lipstick and lip gloss. Jerrod Blandino, Too Faced Co-Founder and Creative Director, got the idea because he loved the intensity and glossiness of lipstick when it’s in its melted form in the cosmetic lab vats. He wanted to create something as rich and glossy, while keeping it super comfortable to wear.

He totally nailed it.

The precision tip applicator is really great. It’s a nice soft texture, and delivers the perfect amount of gloss each time. It never comes rushing out, and all you have to do is give the tube a little squeeze to get the product out.

Overall: There are so many things I love about these. First of all the colors are all great. The bright shades are REALLY bright and that’s great for me. But they also have a couple more wearable shades for those who don’t want lips too bright. I love the applicator because it works really well with getting the gloss smoothed out evenly and perfectly over your lips. The tip also works perfectly around your lip line, so you won’t need a lip liner. They are incredibly saturated and very glossy. In terms of how they feel? Fabulous! They are light, creamy, non-sticky and have no scent or taste. I have been wearing Nude for three hours now and it hasn’t bled, faded or moved whatsoever. I did notice if you get a little heavy-handed with the application it can gather in the corners of your mouth, so watch it with that. A little goes a long way. They feel like a nice lip balm, for real!

Availability: Sephora (in stores now, online soon), Macy’s, Too Faced.

Pricing: $21.00 for 0.40 oz.

Ok I need to know which shades you are dying to check out!
