Cult Nails It's A New Day

Cult Nails It’s a New Day is a new limited edition collection for spring 2014.

This collection includes three pastel cremes as well as a stamp plate that was designed with Marta from Chit Chat Nails. Maria and Marta created nine patterns they wanted to have on a stamping plate and made it reality.

The nail shades are all quite lovely and perfect for a spring collection. I am especially enamored with New Day.

Cult Nails It's A New Day-2

The nail stamping plate includes two heart designs, a rose, five other patterns and a really cool paragraph of words that reads “I joined the Cult and fell in love” over and over.

Cult Nails New Day

New Day

New Day is a cool-toned lemon yellow creme. Now I have Pearl Jam Jeremy stuck in my head because it reminds me of the lyrics “lemon yellow sun.” 😉 But it’s such a beautiful yellow! I used three coats, but you could probably get away with two.

Cult Nails Evolution

Evolution is a sheer peach creme. You could use this either as a sheer wash with one coat or do two or three coats, because it does build up nicely and become opaque. So shiny and feminine looking.

Cult Nails Falling Hard

Falling Hard

Falling Hard is a medium cool-toned pink creme. This one covers very nicely in just one to two coats.

Cult Nails Falling Hard with Stamp

I am not what you would call good at nail stamping, but I did mange to do one nail with the paragraph of words. Kinda sorta. 😉

Overall: Cute collection! I like all of the shades but the stand-out one for me is New Day. I am always on the hunt for this exact shade of yellow that covers nicely without streaking, and this one does the job! The stamps included are really cute also. I especially like the words, hearts and rose designs.

Availability: Cult Nails.

Pricing: Pre-sale starts April 11th at 12:00am, EST and runs through April 25th or while supplies last. The pre-sale set including stamp plate will be $24.00. Afterwards the set will be $41.00 (so you save $17.00 if you order during pre-sale!) The stamper sells separately and it’s $6.00.
