Happy Thursday afternoon!
Today I have twelve more Makeup Geek Eyeshadow shades swatched for you. In case you haven’t yet gotten on the Makeup Geek train, you might want to reconsider. I have reviewed quite a few of their eyeshadows here, here, here and here and these are just as fabulous!
Makeup Geek shadows are extremely pigmented and soft. You can buy them like this, just in the pan to place in a Z Palette (or other type of palette), or in a compact. They are cruelty free, paraben free and talc free. The best part? They are very inexpensive and very high quality.
Ice Queen is a frosty white.
White Lies is a matte white.
Yellow Brick Road is a pale yellow shimmer.
Lemon Drop is a bright lemon yellow shimmer.
Simply Marlena is an intense pink with flecks of gold shimmer.
Wisteria is a soft lavender matte.
Sensuous is a shimmery purple with flecks of silver.
Neptune is a bright blue matte.
Stealth is a medium matte grey.
Graphite is a medium grey metallic with silver flecks.
Bleached Blonde is a warm shimmery gold.
Moondust is a metallic silvery/taupe.
Overall: I am so impressed with all of these shades. As I expected they were all super pigmented and soft to the touch. I love some of the more unusual shades like Yellow Brick Road, Lemon Drop and Simply Marlena. I think Stealth is my favorite shade here because I am obsessed with everything grey lately. Graphite, Moondust, Bleached Blonde and Sensuous are also incredibly amazing shades, and more wearable for those on the more conservative side.
