This fall Pixi introduces us to their Beauty Essentials collection which features the Perfection Palette, Crayon Combo in Softly Smoky and Tinted Brilliance Balm in Nearly Naked.
All these items are available at Target now. Ok let’s talk Target and slightly more expensive makeup items. Many of you feel like I do about this issue. When you go to Target, you don’t expect to pay Sephora-like prices for makeup. It can be a hard pill to swallow! But I have to say, I’ve been really impressed with the Pixi eye shadow palettes I have tried in the past and this one is really great! The colors are gorgeous, the texture is soft and smooth and they are incredibly pigmented. Plus you get 16 eye shadows, 3 cheek powders a highlighter and a bronzer for a good price (even though it is more spendy than one would think for Target).
Let’s check it out further.
Overall: The Perfection Palette is really gorgeous and I am in love with it. I especially love the third and fourth rows of eye shadows. So rich and pigmented! The Blushes and Highlighter are also really nice shades and feel soft. I’m not as thrilled with the Crayon in Softly Smoky. Nice enough shades that go with everything in the eye palette, but they feel a bit hard and not very creamy. They do have a Dual Sharpener for this pencil (and others) that is $6.00. The Nearly Naked Brilliance Balm is a very sheer nude. On me it basically looks like I am wearing clear balm. The definite thing to get for me is the Perfection Palette.
What do you think about these shades here? Loving the Perfection Palette or still not buying it at that price?
