Wet n Wild Fergie Summer 2013 Collection

Wet n Wild Fergie Summer 2013

The Wet n Wild Fergie Summer 2013 Collection features just a few limited edition pieces but they might be well worth checking out for you.

There are two new Photo Op Eyeshadow Palettes here and both are really good. Better than the ones I have swatched previously I think. They mostly have a nice satin-like slightly shimmery texture and feel soft and nice. No chalky mattes, no crazy-ass glitters.

There are also two new shades of the Perfect Pout Lip Gloss which are kind of just there.

Shades of the Hamptons (over primer)

Shades of the Hamptons features cool-toned pastel-like shades, but don’t think they are chalky icky ones!

First is a pale greenish blue satiny/matte, then is a pale lavender pink satin, then a vivid green with yellow shimmer, then a sky blue satin and in the middle is a shimmery soft pinkish gold.

I love these colors together and they all were very soft and nicely pigmented. They blend very easily and aren’t chalky in the least. Very impressive palette, I really like all the shades here.

Newport Nights (over primer)

Newport Nights features mostly warmer pinks, oranges and browns. They all go together very nicely.

First is a vanilla matte, then a very pale satiny peachy pink, then a vivid orange satin, then a pale pink with slight blue duochrome and in the middle is a glittery bronze with gold glitter. Ok so yes, there is one glitter here but it’s a gorgeous pigmented shade!

Hot, Hot, Haute is a sheer orange, which basically showed up as just clear on me.

Fergaluscious is a gold metallic shade. Definitely not for me, but it has nice pigmentation.

Overall: I am loving the Photo Op Eyeshadows for sure. These are the nicest ones I’ve tried in terms of color combinations, texture and payoff. I love that there is a cool and warm option. I’m not blown away by either of the Perfect Pout Glosses though.

Availability: July in drugstores (limited edition).

Pricing: Palettes ($4.99), Lip Gloss ($3.49).

Is there anything here you will be keeping an eye out for?
