A.dorn Nail Paint Swatches and Review – Part Deux!

a-dorn Nail Paint

Afternoon folks!

I have three more A.dorn Nail Paint swatches for you today. In case you missed my previous post about them, A.dorn is a company that hails from So/Cal and they are vegan, cruelty free and toxin free.

They have about 10 nail shades available and here are three more stunners!

a-dorn All Hands On Deck
All Hands On Deck

All Hands On Deck is a rich, dark navy blue with lighter blue shimmer. This one is a stunner in real life, especially in the sun. Excellent formula so creamy and opaque in two coats. When I wore it this past weekend I caught myself admiring my nails constantly. It does tend to stain (most blues do on me, even with a nice base coat) but the staining went away after a day and some hand washing for me.

a-dorn Landlocked Mermaid
Landlocked Mermaid

Landlocked Mermaid is a blue/green/pink/purple multichrome shimmer. It applies sheer but definitely builds up to be nearly opaque in three coats. I say nearly because my tips aren’t 100% covered. It’s a gorgeous shade though, changes so many colors depending on the lighting.

a-dorn Tequila Mockingbird
Tequila Mockingbird

Tequila Mockingbird is a deep velvety purple with fuchsia shimmer. Another stunner, especially in certain lighting. The formula wasn’t perfect but I made it work. It’s a bit thick yet watery, so I was getting some bald patches near my cuticles with each coat. It wants to move  or “bleed” a bit on the nails once you layer a coat on, so keep them thin if possible. After three coats though it looks so rich, glowy and pretty.

Overall: I think all three of these shades are great but I particularly love All Hands On Deck and Tequila Mockingbird. Overall a great formula and interesting shades!

What do you think of these three?
