Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil in Noise and Mushroom for Summer 2013

Urban Decay 24-7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil Noise and Mushroom

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil now comes in two new shades for summer 2013 – Mushroom and Noise.

These fatty waterproof pencils are creamy and blendable. But work fast as they set quickly! I like blending them out with my finger. Simple and easier than a brush I find.

Mushroom, Noise

Mushroom is a gorgeous pale grey/taupe shimmer.

Noise is a bright pink with silver sparkle.

Of the two I think it’s pretty obvious which is the most wearable shade. Mushroom is the kind of color that makes me super happy, I love it and it would look good on basically everyone. Noise, is a fun shade, but I don’t think I could pull it off and feel like myself. But I know quite a few people who could (lucky)!

Availability: Sephora, Urban Decay, Ulta (soon).

Pricing: $20.00.

Would you use either of these? How would you use Noise?

I tried the pink one, but it was Woodstock. It made me look like I have pink eye if I used it by itself <.<

I love the formula of the glide on pencils, they’re so easy. Props for noise. I can see it looking lovely on deep skintones

I would use Noise to make the rainbow eyeliner for wear during summer events! (: I think that would be a totally cool shade to make the rainbow.

Mushroom is pretty as a powder shadow, but I didn’t love it enough to buy it-it looks great though in this format! I might pick up this one. I’ve found the UD shadow pencils I have to be a little less creamy than I would like, and they tug a bit, but they look awesome and last well even on my oily/hooded lids. This one calls to me. ;)

Is the Mushroom shadow pencil the same as the Mushroom eyeliner pencil? Just curious!

Noise is like Woodstock with glitter. I just got Woodstock eyeliner on Saturday. What a fun color!

Mushroom is a more wearable shade. But I love Noise. So dazzling!

Urban Decay has so many great colors in the liners and shadows. I just wish the company would get over their obsession with glitter. Shimmer is one thing but, glitter looks pretty bad on anyone over 21 and fallout either from application or during removal gives off the stripper vibe. It’s frustrating because I do love the majority of colors.

I’d use noise as a base for my brighter pink eyeshadows since they can get patchy. That said, I don’t know that I wear it often enough to justify a purchase
