The butter LONDON Bespoke Collection for summer 2013 features six new shades and I’ve got two of them for ya today.
This collection features a lot of metal-colored shades like pink-gold, bronze, copper, chrome, rust and a robin’s egg blue. The two I have (Champers and Bit Faker) both had a really great formula and were just two coats.
Let’s check them out a bit closer, shall we?
Champers (Brit slang for champagne) is a rose-gold metallic shimmer. It’s a little more gold than rose but you definitely detect the pink in it. It’s completely streak-free and covers perfectly in two coats. Great shade for summer I do love rose golds!
Bit Faker (inspired by tans in cans) features copper and bronze glitter. This sucker is PACKED with glitter! It’s actually kind of amazing how incredibly thick this was, yet it covered very evenly, without clumps in two coats. These are the kind of glitter shades I can get behind because they truly are full coverage and you don’t need to bother with layering them over a base shade. Love this one.
Overall: Well I only saw two of the six, but I liked the two I tested out. I especially love Bit Faker because it’s so thick and easy to work with. But yes, it’s a nightmare to remove!
See anything here that interests you? Do you like full coverage glitters, or prefer to layer them over a base?
