NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Swatches & Review
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealers are new this spring and let me tell you something – these are the first concealers in a long time that actually play nicely with my pesky fine lines. It’s pretty much a miracle.
They come in ten shades and are very pigmented and creamy. They have light diffusing technology which helps blur imperfections and fine lines, and evens out skin tone. Just a dab will do ya, trust me!
They are also crease-proof, long-wear, non-comedogenic, paraben-free and fragrance-free.

Chantilly, Vanilla, Honey, Custard, Ginger, Biscuit, Caramel, Amande, Cafe, Cacao
- Chantilly – True ivory shade for fairest complexions
- Vanilla – Tiny cast of pink for the fair complexion
- Honey – Warm peach tone for light to medium complexion
- Custard – Yellow tone for light to medium complexion
- Ginger – Golden undertone for medium complexion
- Biscuit – Medium dark natural balance of pink and yellow undertones
- Caramel – Medium dark yellow and golden undertones
- Amande – Medium dark with golden olive undertones
- Cafe – Dark shade with warm red undertones
- Cacao – Dark shade with deep gold-brown undertones
I tested two of the shades out over a period of two days and was really rather impressed.
First off I tested Vanilla, since normally I am the second lightest shade of foundation or concealer in any line. I think Vanilla was too pink for me (I have more yellow undertones) but in terms of the lightness, it worked. Just a really small amount goes a long way with this stuff, which is great. And it is build-able as well. I always wear any under-eye concealer or brightener over MAC Fast Response Eye Cream because it gives nice moisture and a “slip” that my under-eye area needs, as it tends to be a bit dry there. So I did notice some very mild creasing within about 15 minutes, which is usually when concealer settles on me the most. But it was much less than other concealers and it didn’t get worse during the day at all!
The next day I decided to try Custard since it has yellow undertones. Initially it seemed WAY too yellow/orange but after I patted it in, it actually completely disappeared. The same slight creasing happened after 10-15 minutes, which I just lightly patted away and it lasted all day with no other creasing or flaking.
Overall: I would say 95% of the time I don’t even wear concealer because nearly all of them just crease too much for me and I wind up looking older, not younger. I tend to stick to just a pink brightener in the corners of my eyes. But I can honestly say this one worked pretty well for me and it just might get me back to wearing concealer.
Availability: NARS.
Pricing: $28.00 for 0.22 oz.
Are these concealers you would try? Do you currently have a favorite one?

Very interesting!! I’m thinking Vanilla for me.. Great review and swatches!
Thanks, hope Vanilla works for ya!
I am really curious about this concealer. I’m looking for a new one. Concealers tend to settle into my fine lines as well. I may have to pick this up.

It’s so frustrating isn’t it? That definitely is the #1 issue I think if you are over say 30.
Wait, you’re a Custard? I would never have guessed because that’s my shade (and I’m an NC 25-30)! I’m currently using the Clinique pen for my undereye area, but I’m between two shades and went with the lighter one. The problem is it doesn’t blend into my skin tone too well, so I always think it looks a little ashy. I don’t like concealers in pots, so I’ve been looking for something else I want to try. Definitely going for this when they become available on UK-based webshops!

It was the shade that worked the best actually, which is strange! I definitely do better with shades that are more yellow than pink, even if they are slightly darker. Too much pink makes me look SO wrong, haha.
The concealer looks great, but the shade range is not idea – where are the pale yellow shades?? I’m glad Custard ended up working for you, though!

Chantilly- the lightest shade- appears yellow in VV’s swatch. I can’t wait to try it, almost every concealer I’ve ever tried is too pink, since that’s typically what the fairest tone comes in! Has anyone tried this for blemish coverage?

Actually yes! I didn’t mention that, totally forgot. I used it on a red pimple I had and it covered really nicely without getting thick or cakey. I would say it concealed it about 85% of what it was with nothing.
I know, I wish there was at least one light yellow one!
I don’t know why I’ve been so obsessed with concealers lately but I really want to give this a try.

I definitely would like to check these out….it’s hard for me to swallow that price tag but it might be worth it because I still have never found a concealer that I LOVE. Right now I’m using Benefit Erase Paste and it’s too thick for me. It causes pulling under my eyes and looks flaky when I’m done patting it in. I think Custard would be best for me, or maybe Ginger if it’s not too dark. I have some lines under my eyes too which SUCKS because I’m only 24
But if this stays relatively put then it entices me…How do you apply your concealer? Do you find this gets flaky/caky?
Erase Paste is one of the worst ones I have ever tried for me. It was awful! I usually just use a REALLY small amount and pat it on with my ring finger over that MAC moisturizer I mentioned. This didn’t get flaky or cakey at all on me.
I really need to find a good concealer STAT. I might need to head on over to Sephora to find my match. I’m thinkin Ginger might be it… IDK I suck at color matching haha.

It can be tricky but at least Sephora has a good return policy!
I’m currently using and loving the famous Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. Boring, I know haha
Custard looks like my shade…may have to check it out if they have it at The Makeup Show!

Hm I used to be Custard, sometimes mixed with Ginger, but I feel like these look a little different. Maybe it’s just the formula reflecting light differently. But oh my goodness these just look soooo beautiful. So many realistic, true-to-skin colors… I love base/complexion products

Is this concealer good enough for blemishes and acne scars? Or is the consistency too thin and sheer for that? Thanks and nice post I already love the other nars concealer, can’t wait to try this one out!
It’s actually really good for it because it’s thick and covers really well, but doesn’t get all flakey.
Thank you so much for reviewing, I must say I have to try this. I wonder how it measures up to MAC’s Select Moisture Cover concealer which is my favorite.
I am a fan of bobbi brown corrector + concealer combi but now i can’t wait to try this!
I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU SHARED THIS! I had no clue that NARS was coming out with these concealers! I love their colour range, since Chantilly is the only concealer colour that matches my very pale complexion, but I always find that their stick concealer was much too dry for under my eyes. I’m so glad they’re bringing these out!
You just made my day/week/year!
I currently use NARS Concealer (the cream stick) in Chantilly which is a perfect color match for me. I use a little of it under my eyes and a few dabs here and there to touch up small imperfections. I really love it but it’s not creamy enough to use on my eyelids (and I need some help there – my skin is so pale all the veins show through! yikes!).
I have been wishing/hoping/praying for a cream concealer from NARS for so long so I will definitely be getting the new Creamy Concealer in Chantilly. I’m so excited to get it! *happy dance*
I have such a hard time finding a color match as the lightest shade in all the cosmetic lines I’ve tried is too dark (making me look orange), too pink (making me look cake-y), or too yellow (making me look like I have jaundice). :/ I have very light skin but my skin’s undertone is very neutral. It doesn’t lean pink or yellow, it’s somewhere between.
I’m hoping the new Creamy Concealer in Chantilly will be a new HG product for me. I currently use NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Siberia and NARS Concealer (stick) in Chantilly so it would be great to add the Creamy Concealer to my NARS HGs! Yay!!!
Thank you sooooooooo much for this review!
I can’t wait for these to hit Sephora/Nordstrom so that I can test colors IRL. I’m thinking Vanilla (wear Mont Blanc fndtn) will be my match. The “plays nicely with fine lines” & light diffusing technology is what caught my attention initially. I am loving the new light reflecting powder as well.
I’m always looking for that perfect concealer so I imagine I’ll give this a try too!

I have been on the lookout for the “perfect” concealer for a while now. I need it to cover my acne scars and redness. Might have to give this one a try!
What do you do with all the make up that isn’t your color? Do you send it back? Give them to friends?
Wow, what a great shade selection, I might give one or two of the fair shades a go as it is unusual to find such pale ones. Thanks for the swatches and review!
I am so excited to read this review! I normally shy away from concealers for the exact reason that they settle into my fine lines, but lately I’ve had some seriously terrible dark circles. Now I just need to figure out what shade to get…why is that second shade so very pink?? Haha. I’m pretty fair but I have yellow undertones as well and it’s sometimes so hard to find a shade match.
I need to try Custard! I actually found my “perfect” concealer, but is Chanel and the $40 hurt LOL!! I would be happy to replace it by this one!!!

do these have the same doe foot applicator that the maybelline fit me concealers have?
I never use Maybelline, but the applicator is a sponge dual-sided flat type.
What color do you recommend for someone who is nc20/25ish? I’m also Nars Fiji in sheerglow and TM in Alaska? They all look either too light or too dark.
Thank you so much!
Well I’m actually NC20 and weirdly Custard works for me the best! The others are too pink or light/dark.
Have you tried MUFE’s lift concealer? Currently I am using it but If Nars one is better, I will switch to it. thanks
No I haven’t, sorry!
