Once you open the little box you get a glass container that has a sort of crimped pattern on the sides. Why can’t I think of the name of what this is called? Mind=blank. It reminds me of an old-fashioned pie tin though, and I like it! :)

So obviously these are creamy because they are cremes after-all! They also feel super slick and moist, and apply really easily. They are on the sheer side but build up a bit. They dry after a minute, set, then stay on really nicely.

I’ll admit, I never wear anything on my eyes without a primer before-hand, so I can’t speak to the actual creaseless claims they make with these. If I am going by history and my greasy, crease-prone lids, I would say they would probably crease on me eventually, probably sooner than later. Virtually everything does on me without a primer. But if you don’t have creasing issues anyway, then you are better off than I! With a primer, they are golden all day long.

Availability: March.

Pricing: $20.00 for 0.16 oz.

How do you feel about cream shadows like this? Will you be checking out any of the news shades?

I have two Benefit Creaseless Cream (Birthday Suit and Skinny Jeans), and I’m happy they’ll stay in the line-up! Not because I will finish them anytime soon, but because I think they’re great shades to have in anyone’s collection! I am definitely eyeing some of the new shades as well (like No Pressure and My Two Cents)!

I think it’s very smart how the packaging basically forces you to store these lid-down, which keeps them creamy for longer. Good job, Benefit!

Birthday Suit is most definitely a must-have. It is the easiest way to give a base or go for a no makeup look. I’m so glad they left it in the mix.

They are all beautiful colors but I have a serious fear of cream shadows. I don’t care if they claim to be creaseless or not. I just hate when people wear them and they crease, blah. They might as well have their mascara run down their face and make it look like they’ve been crying all day. Just never been a fan of them.
I’d probably try it as a base for a shadow…but i’ll never wear one without setting it after.

Benefit’s Creaseless Cream Shadows are fantastic. On the days I’m in a rush I just wear these on my eyes. They are definitely creaseless and just gorgeous. I’m so bummed that they got rid of Gettin’ Figgy. That is hands-down one of my favorites along with Skinny Jeans. Not sure that I love the new packaging yet, I guess I will have to get my hands on them to decide.

I love cream shadows, and the one Benefit cream I’ve got performs really well. I’ve love the box these come in, so pretty.

I will definitely try out- I’m a new fan of the old creaseless creams and just bummed they are discontinuing some shades. My only complaint about the old ones were the packaging- I have a hard time unscrewing the lid when my fingers are moist from having just applied moisturizer or foundation. Maybe the crimped sides will grip better to eliminate that problem. Also the lids- if you drop this shadow on a tiled bathroom floor and the plastic lid cracks, forget about it! It will dry out within 24 hours! ditto if you don’t tighten the lid enough. Hopefully the new lid solves this too. Probably will try Bikini-tini and No pressure. but for those new to creaseless, Birthday Suit RSVP or Skinny Jeans are the best to try first.

    LOVE the new packaging!

I think the pattern is called scalloped. I could be wrong, haha.

I really like Creaseless Cream Shadows. I’m on a trial period for a new job. If I get it, I’ll be able to shop at Sephora more often, and I’ll definitely pick up a few of these babies.

Any tips on what kind of eyeliner would work best with these? Every time I wear a cream shadow, my otherwise-smooth pen liner always skips, then ceases to work altogether. It’s the main reason I stay away from cream eye shadows.

I just used the new Milani Liquid one over it with no problems. Maybe try a smooth gel or creme liner.

I like the packaging and these shades are lovely. I have a Benefit cream shadow but don’t use it much, it’s sooo frosty. Cream shimmer seems to just look really… I don’t know the word – texture-y? on my eye lids

The packaging is so cute! I really like the way Holy Smokes looks. I am so terrible at applying cream shadows! I somehow can’t seem to get them blended and looking like I want them.

I absolutely love the fact that almost whatever product I google there you are with your reviews and abundent information! I have a question and I would really be grateful for some help as I live in Sweden and I have to buy this shadow over the net from the US.
Is there any difference between the new creaseless cream shadows and the old as regards to formula and shades? I am especially interested in Birthday Suit, which seems to be a wonderful shade. Is it still the same?
I have just heard of these shadows now and I don´t know which one I should buy. New isn´t always better…
