Smashbox Love Me Eyeshadow Palettes for Spring 2013 Swatches & Review

Smashbox Love Me is a new limited edition collection for spring 2013 and it’s comprised of two Eye Shadow Palettes (Admire Me, Entice Me), two Be Legendary Lipsticks (Love Me, Tempt Me), a Powder Blush (Idolize Me), Paint Pen Eyeliner (Jet Black) and Lip Enhancing Gloss (Adore Me, Charm Me).
I saw the two shadow palettes on Sephora’s website awhile back and couldn’t resist picking them up. Such cute packaging but also the colors looked really tempting…

Entice Me

Entice Me
As you can see the palette has “Love Me” written in black plastic and that layer lifts up so you can get to the actual shadows underneath. I love the shape inside, though the smaller areas can be trickier to get into with a brush.

Entice Me

The shadows don’t have individual names so we’ll go from left to right, top to bottom. All of these are incredibly soft and feel really nice.
First we have an incredible purple/silver/grey sparkly shade. This is 10 times cooler in person than it shows here, it’s really spectacular! Extremely soft and pigmented.
Second is a super sparkly cool taupe. Again very soft and pigmented.
Below that is a pale shimmery pink.
Next to that is a pale, icy blue shimmer.
Finally there is a really deep navy blue with light blue shimmer. Super pigmented and nice!

Admire Me

All of the shadows in this palette were also nicely pigmented and very soft. A great palette for those looking for warmer shades.
First is an intense copper metallic.
Next is a shimmery warm peach/pink shade.
Then we have a light champagne/beige shimmer.
Next up is a camel colored warm brown matte. So soft!
Finally there is a deep chocolate brown with gold shimmer.
Overall: I do love them! Both of these palettes contain really quality eye shadows. Super soft, but not crumbly. Extremely pigmented and well put together colors. I like both a lot but Entice Me wins out just slightly because of the purple and deep navy shades. These are well worth checking out!
Availability: Nordstrom, Sephora, Beauty.com, and Smashbox.
Pricing: $34.00 for 0.17 oz.
What do you think about these? Anything here you are loving?

Note: Smashbox is not cruelty free.

Entice me looks so cool! The first shade is so amazingly complex!

And it’s so much better in person. I was so excited when I swatched it!
Out of all the swatches, my eye was also drawn to that first shade Kelly swatched. Gorgeous!

I really like both of these and wouldn’t mind having both of them, but I think the first one is my favorite.
These actually look cheap to me. I think it’s the clear top. I do like the design in the shadows and the “love” overlay.
I just purchased Entice Me at Sephora about 30min ago. Initially I was a little concerned about the colors and thought the packaging was a little gimmicky. But then I saw a photo somewhere using the palette and I thought the colors looked gorgeous! In person the texture is soft and smooth just like you stated in your review. I love it and can’t wait to war it.
What an interesting presentation! First one’s color combination looks quite unique too!

These colors seem to have great payoff. I may want to check these out now.

These are both so pretty! I especially like the shades in Entice Me; so pretty and Springy!
VERY cute packaging, but I just want that first shade you swatched! Gorgeous!!
Entice Me is soooo gorgeous! I really appreciate you mentioning that they’re not cruelty-free, I’ll have to pass.:(
These look fantastic! I’m so excited to try them. A great mix of colors for such a portable palette.
These are lovely palettes, but they’re all a bit too shiny for me.
These are both gorgeous- love the design of the palette, even if it makes getting at the smaller shadows trickier.

That purple shade in Entice Me is amazing & I wish they gave you more of it. I wonder if there’s a dupe for it somewhere?
I love the swatches! There aren’t any colors that are jumping out at me, but I can appreciate the cute packaging. Smashbox’s eyeshadows are so inconsistent. I hated their holiday palette, but this looks like a different formula.

I bought the blue/taupe one. The pink is VERY crumbly, not so keen on that shade but the rest are so, so pretty. The deep sparkly taupe is SUCH a special colour, I will cry when I hit pan on it
*lemmings officially created* Holy gorgeous shadows!!! And those super cute palettes!!! *major swoon*
What? Smashbox is not cruelty free anymore? I love Smashbox in the past! There eye colors went on so well.
What happened Smashbox? So sad. I will not be purchasing their products anymore! And I LOVE jet-set!!!
Smashbox sells in China now where they require animal testing by law.
So sad
I won’t be purchasing their products anymore
What would you recommend as alternative to JetSet?
I don’t have that one but there are a lot of great gel liners out there from cruelty free brands like Wet n Wild, Elf and MakeupGeek.
I picked up Entice Me tonight at Beauty Brands…it was too gorgeous for me to pass up after I saw it in person! This is my first Smashbox product…
