Nicole by OPI New Lacquers for 2013 Swatches & Review
Nicole by OPI is launching four new shades for 2013 this month and I’ve got the details and pics!
Two of these are kind of classic pink and red shades and two are deep shimmery vampy shades. Really nice formula with all four of these. All were very saturated with just two coats. Yahoo!
Still Into Pink
Still Into Pink is a super bright blue-based pink with shimmer. Nearly neon! This one does dry matte, but a top coat makes it nice and shiny. Pretty and vibrant summery shade for those scorching hot days sitting by the pool while sipping a margarita whilst on vacation in Fiji…Oh am I dreaming again?
Please Red-cycle
Please Red-cycle is a bright cool-toned red creme. Super shiny, super bright, classic red shade. Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either here. 
Plum To Your Senses!
Plum To Your Senses! is a deep purple with brighter purple, blue and pink shimmer. Really lovely shade but there was a weird issue at first. Most of the shimmer had settled at the bottom of the bottle, so it was really watery and runny at first. Then I shook the bottle up really well and it became much thicker and opaque.
Totally In The Dark
Totally In The Dark is a black with very fine silver shimmer. The base shade is a really nice deep black but doesn’t hide the shimmer. Great opacity and nice & shiny to boot.
Overall: I am happy to report that there weren’t really any issues with the formula or application of these four shades. I am especially loving Still Into Pink and Plum To Your Senses! Are they all unique shades? Perhaps not, but all really nice either way.
Availability: Out this month at Target, CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, Kmart, Ulta, Duane Reade, etc.

Plum to Your Senses and Totally in the Dark look amazing!!! Can’t help it. Given the choice I’d almost always reach for darker shades

Ditto! Lots of people seem to love it.
Still into Pink is traffic stopping! I’ll admit though I only feel “meh” about the other three, hopefully NOPI comes out with some cool lines this year. I felt like they did a really good job with the Selena Gomez and Modern Family collections. Now my expectations are a bit higher for this brand.

Even though they’re not super original, I love the pink and red shades! Classic and pretty.
These are beautiful colors, and I’d go with Please Red-cycle. It’s such a bright and gorgeous red shade.

The pink looks like a dupe for Orly Flirty, I’d be curious as to how they compare.
It reminded me of Cream Pink by Sinful Colors. Despite the name, it does have shimmer running throughout.
I know it looks barbie-doll’ish but I love Still in Pink. I just can’t get enough of pink polishes.
