Chick Polish for Spring 2013 Swatches & Review
Today I’ve got five nail polishes from Chick, which are all big-3-free, cruelty free and vegan, by the by.
I believe four of these are new and one is slightly older. No matter, they are all pretty! Let’s dig in.
Fairy Snot, Gr8 Gray Owl, Once Upon A Time
Rocker Chick, Troll Juice
Once Upon A Time
Once Upon A Time is a super shimmery pink/red. In the bottle it looks more red with a slight orange duochrome looking effect, but on the nail it comes off as more of a bright pink. Super glittery and almost like a foil finish. Great coverage and pigmentation with just two coats.
GR8 Gray Owl
GR8 Gray Owl is a medium grey creme. I believe this is the one that is slightly older. Still a great grey shade and a really nice formula. No streaks, no issues and two coats.
Fairy Snot (over GR8 Gray Owl)
Fairy Snot has a clear base and contains multi-colored iridescent micro-glitter. Very feminine and soft looking. You get a good amount of glitter with each coat and the base isn’t too thick or sticky, so you can easily do two or three coats and not have it too thick.
Rocker Chick is a blackened warm purple with tons of bright pink and copper shimmer. This one is a stunner, especially in person. Reminds me of rich velvet drapes for some reason. The formula is really good and it covers in two coats. Beautiful glowing shade!
Troll Juice is a jet black with silver shimmer. The base is super dark and the silver shimmer is really fine yet super sparkly. Excellent formula with just two coats. Really nice shade and polish!
Overall: All of these a had really good formula and covered with just two coats. I liked all the shades but I have to say the stand-out ones for me are Rocker Chick and Troll Juice. So rich and pretty.

What do you think about these five shades? Anything here tempting you?
