bareMinerals Remix Collection READY Eyeshadow 4.0 Swatches & Review

The bareMinerals Remix Collection is new and limited edition this spring.
This collection comes in gorgeous mirrored aqua packaging and includes new two new READY Eyeshadow 4.0 palettes (The Next Big Thing and The Wild Thing), Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner (Midnight), two shades of Flawless Definition Mascara (Black, Aqua Blast), READY Blush (The Natural High), Bronzing MineralVeil Finishing Powder SPF 25, Secret Radiance All-Over Face Color and Loud & Clear Lip Sheers (Amped Pink, Tangerine Trance, Berry Remix).
I have most of the collection but first up I wanted to show you the two READY Eyeshadow 4.0 palettes. Can I just say not only is the packaging super pretty but their eyeshadows are out of control good? I mean GOOD. I can think of a few companies that could learn a thing or two from them!

Inside these aqua beauties you will find a large mirror and dual-ended applicator sponge. On the back you see the shades that are represented inside. And yes, they have all have names, which is always a bonus to me.

The Wild Thing

Clockwise: Sensational, Icon, Controversy, Elitist

Sensational, Icon, Controversy, Elitist (no primer!)
First I have to say these shadows are so pigmented and soft I didn’t even need primer to get great swatches. I love them all, truly.
Sensational is a light green/yellow duochrome shimmer. Very pale and super pretty.
Icon is a sparkly chartreuse with great pigmentation. Interesting and unique shade.
Controversy is a deep shimmery navy blue.
Elitist is a shimmery taupe with gold sparkles.

The Next Big Thing

Clockwise: Rising Star, Smash Hit, Ensemble, Hoopla

Rising Star, Smash Hit, Ensemble, Hoopla (no primer)
Same thing with these as with The Wild Thing, no primer needed for swatches.
Rising Star is a shimmery golden yellow, very pigmented.
Smash Hit is a tangerine matte.
Ensemble is a deep plum/brown matte.
Hoopla is an intense warm coppery/gold metallic.
Overall: Great, great, great palettes. I am really impressed over and over again with the texture and payoff of bareMinerals eyeshadows. Where have they been all my life? They are soft and so pigmented, it’s really refreshing! Aside from that, the colors are interesting, and not the same ones you see over and over. The packaging is really cute and I feel the pricing is pretty good as well.
Availability: Nordstrom, Beauty.com, Sephora and bareMinerals.
Pricing: $30.00 for 0.17 oz.
What do you think about these two new eyeshadow palettes? Have you tried the eyeshadows from bareMinerals yet?

Note: bareMinerals is cruelty free.

Elitist is such an amazingly complex shade! It might be worth getting the quad for that alone!

Isn’t it so pretty? I just love these shadows.
I have heard nothing but good things about the bareminerals ready eyeshadows, sounds like they just knocked the formula out of the park!
Elitist & Hoopla are my favorite shades from your swatches – too bad they’re from different palettes.

I am just surprised it took me so long to try them out. I really think their eyeshadow formula is spot on.
I really want to like bareminerals because I love the colors in their palettes, but I always end up with terrible creasing! No other higher-end shadow does that to me when I wear primer.
Aww really? That’s not good! I’ve never had any shadows crease on me when I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance or UD Primer Potion.
Tried both of those, no dice. Bareminerals Prime Time primer shadow creases on me too. Wish I knew why… Stila, UD, WnW etc all work great with UDPP or Shadow Insurance…
Yeah their primer also creases on me after a few hours, but the shadows don’t with other primers.
I have trouble blending bareminerals eyeshadows. It’s like I put them on and then can’t get them to move at all, but they do have some fantastic shades.
I’m excited to see swatches of the lip sheers, so I hope you have those to share with us too!
Sadly those are the only things I don’t have, sorry!
I’ve fallen in love with the READY eyeshadows after getting two of the 8 pan palettes before Christmas. The Wild Thing palette and The Natural High blush should be arriving in my mail today, so excited!

I’ve recently become obsessed with this brands eye shadow…..I’ve been stalking a particular two pan palette since Xmas. I may just get one of these there are similar colors to the one I’m stalking!
I bought the Star Treatment palette around the holidays and it is quite amazing!
After being a loose-only fan for years, I find myself reaching for the Ready shadows I do own over and over again. I love the colors, and they really do not need much for pigmentation, so using a swipe with a brush is all I need most days. I agree, they are fabulous and I am dying to get my paws on the Wild Thing one!
Wow, these are really lovely. I love the compact and the shine! I would love to try the Wild Thing palette, because I love those colors but I think the The Next Big Thing would probably be more my speed, lol.

Whoa, I love Icon! I’m a big fan of weird chartreuse colors and I don’t think I’ve ever seen another shadow quite like it, and I really like the rest of that palette as well…if only these were in my budget :c ah, the joys of unemployment and college.
These are gorgeous!

I LOVE the Next Big Thing. I saw these palettes on the Bare Minerals show on QVC and they are so pretty. These eyeshadows are also REALLY soft. I was surprised. I’ve been using Bare Minerals for years but I haven’t tried their ready eyeshadows yet. I think this is the palette that will change that.

I love these bareMinerals eyeshadow palettes– they’re all great! I am sorely tempted by these. I am afraid that The Wild Thing might be too cool toned for me, but I really love the colors.
