Wet n Wild Sparkle ‘Til Morning is one of those infamously hard-to-find Color Icon Eyeshadow palettes. I had actually forgotten about the limited edition holiday ones including this one because I can never seem to find them. But just when I wasn’t expecting it, I saw them at a Walgreens near me I had never been to. Success!
Sparkle ‘Til Morning is probably the best one and most wearable in my opinion. The other two are Shimmer The Night Away and Drinking A Glass Of Shine. Reviews for those coming soon!
Sparkle ‘Til Morning
Left side: Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer (no primer)
The Browbone shade is a light shimmery yellow/gold.
The Eyelid shade is a metallic medium warm gold.
The Crease shade is an intense metallic copper/orange.
The Definer shade is a bright green/blue metallic.
The stand-out shades here are definitely the Crease and Definer colors. Very intense and pigmented. Obviously you don’t have to use these as they say to, you can mix and match to your hearts content.
Right side: Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer (no primer)
The Browbone shade is a very pigmented metallic pink.
The Eyelid shade is a glittery/shimmery bronze/brown.
The Crease shade is a slightly shimmery warm caramel brown.
The Definer shade is a deep reddish/brown with copper glittery bits.
I was really impressed with the Definer shade one this side in particular because it’s so dark and I didn’t even use primer here.
Overall: I think this is a good palette because most of the shades are really easy to wear for most people. There is a good variety of “natural” shades and they feel soft and easy to blend. But if you want something a little more intense or vivid there is the copper and blue to mix it up with. Frequently these palettes are hard to find in good shape because the shadows tend to be so soft they crumble easily. That is the one downfall. Well that and the fact that they are SO hard to find!
Availability: Walgreens, CVS, etc. Limited edition for the holidays.
