Question of the Week
Happy Friday!
Was your week good? Anything exciting happen? Mine was pretty good. I finally got the energy up to put out most of my holiday decorations. I am getting my tree this weekend. My least favorite part of the whole tree decorating thing? Putting on the lights! But I refuse to buy a fake pre-lit tree, I just cannot. 
What is the #1 item on your Christmas list this year?
I honestly struggled with coming up with anything I wanted. I’m not too into the holiday spirit this year. Instead of a physical item, the thing I want most is fulfillment and happiness in my job. Hopefully that happens in 2013 because I am SO ready to move past 2012!

I have two must have items… I want some Mummy Mitts, which are gloves to attach onto my son’s pram. The weather is so cold and it’s playing havoc with my cuticles!
The second is a big Yankee Candle. I want the Snow in Love one because it smells amazing! I just moved house last week and so I want it to smell all homely this Christmas!

I need to smell that one. I am not too into candles (I can’t really light them much because the cats get all curious) but Snow in Love sounds like it would smell really good.
I guess for me it would be to have some good fortune coming for me and the family. Things have been really tough for all of us especially since I ended up getting sick and I keep flip flopping between good and bad days. I just hope next year and this holiday season things will be good for us for once.
I’m sorry, I know how that can be. This year has been bad for us health-wise also the last half of the year. I am SO ready for 2013 and a fresh start! Here’s to a healthy new year!

We are so tight on money like always, but after watching reviews for fortune cookie soap I think that is what I would love to get! Other than jewelry, of course. Somehow my guy always manages to get me an amazing piece of jewelry every year.
A good piece of jewelry is always nice.
Wishing for a new food processor. My old one died and because money is tight we have to tighten our belts. The good news is that we are all happy and healthy and sometimes I need to remember what a gift that is.

Unfortunately, Christmas isn’t celebrated here in the Netherlands as much as in the US. Luckily my mom receives a huge end-of-the-year bonus. She agreed to pay for my plane ticket to Lisbon! I’m going on holiday!!

After what happened in CT this morning, I wish for world peace. And I know that’s cheesy and beauty queen like, but it hurts my heart knowing so many people are willing to hurt others for their own problems. My heart and prayers go out to everybody hurting this Christmas that have lost a loved one this year.
That was heart-wrenching. I saw President Obama on TV, and he was crying as he spoke. You could just tell he was thinking of his two beautiful daughters.

This won’t happen until AFTER the New Year but my #1 wish is to adopt a rescue Pug! I have wanted one for so long and we hope to get a fawn female, under the age of 1.

I’d love a pink iPod touch but I’ve been told I won’t be getting one unless I buy it myself. Now I’m out of ideas haha.
A new phone! My old one has started keeping it’s charge for only about 5 hours….
