Rescue Beauty Lounge BIB4 Suggestions!
Hey there!
Ok so going on right now is the Rescue Beauty Lounge Bring It Back 4 promotion. Basically they brought back 6 popular shades for a limited time. I definitely got in on this because the second I saw swatches of Aqua Lily part of me DIED because I didn’t own it. And now I do!
The formula for all three of these is really good. At first they all seemed super sheer with one coat and I assumed they would be three-coaters. But after two coats for each one they were pretty much perfect.
Hopefully these swatches will help make or break your decision to swipe up one or two of these beauties.
Insouciant, Aqua Lily, Piu Mosso

Insouciant
Insouciant is a muted greyed out lavender with light shimmer. Not so light it looks like a creme though, which is a bonus in my book. Very pretty, feminine shade.
Aqua Lily
Aqua Lily is an intense aqua blue/green with heavy pink shimmer. Utterly, utterly gorgeous and created by fan KayDi Kat. This is a cannot miss shade. I think it and Scrangie are two of my top 5 favorite nail polish shades on earth now!
Piu Mosso
Piu Mosso is a deep blackened blue with heavy orange/red shimmer. This one is really gorgeous because depending on the lighting you are in it seems to change from a deep blue to purple to coppery brown. Beautiful.
You can get these right now along with three other shades they brought back (Starfish-Patrick, Opaque Nude and Recycle) right now, but they will probably sell out fast!

Really nice colours (especially Aqua Lily) but I have never paid that much for a bottle of nail polish in my life so I doubt I’ll start now. Plus, I live in Canada where these would most likely be even more expensive.
I’m in Canada, too, and ordered from them before. Yes, the shipping is pretty expensive. However, if you purchase the more unique shades, I think it’s worth it (if your budget allows for the splurge, of course).
The formula of Rescue Beauty Lounge polish is pretty amazing for the most part!

Wow Piu Mosso is SO gorgeous. In the bottle, it didn’t really look that special, but on your nails it showed up totally different, such pretty purpley tones. One of the prettiest nail polish shades I’ve seen recently

I got Aqua Lily when it was first released and now I had to get a back up! I totally agree, is one of the most perfect nail polishes ever, it lives up to the expectation and more!! I also got Recycle, Opaque Nude, Starfish Patrick… All beautiful shades with great formula!

I don’t know… Aqua Lily does nothing for me. I know I’m pretty much alone there. I really expected the other polish from that collection (the one inspired by the succulent plant) to be more like Aqua Lily, but sage green with violet shimmer – instead it was more of a glitter, which ruined it for me.
I already own Piu Mosso and it is worth every penny of that $20. Totally unique, completely gorgeous, and unlike all those Lippmann polishes, you know Wet and Wild won’t be able to dupe it for $3. RBL’s cost $20 for a reason.
Insouciant might be calling my name this time around… maybe an early Christmas present to myself!

Yeah, they were pricey, but they’re unique colours for me, and I’m expecting (from what I hear) that they’ll be high quality. But I probably won’t be ordering Rescue Beauty on a regular basis. Not only is the polish expensive, but the international shipping charges are a lot: $18.50 up to 7 bottles. Hence the 5 polishes to (somewhat) justify the expensive shipping charges.

Fantastic swatches! Love AqLily- if there is a must have RBL, this would go to the top of the list. So uniquely beautiful. Waiting for PM in the mail and your swatches make me wish i’d gone for Insouciant as well. All so unique. that is what I pay the $20 for. colors that will never show up anywhere else. and that RBL shimmer is, IMO, un-dupe-able.

So I went on the website this morning to buy, and Aqua Lily is sold out again!!!! I cannot believe that I still have to go without. I orderd Insouciant, but of course really really wanted Aqua Lily!!!! I am crying inside.
I can’t believe “my baby” is already sold out!! Insanity! Thanks Kelly and everyone else for all of the Aqua Lily love. Ji did not say that AL is gone for good, but she did say it won’t be making a comeback anytime soon. It’s definitely been a fun ride for me following all of the hoopla!
All of these colors are just fantastic! I would never pay the $$ unless I got them on sale, but I love the subtle shimmer and unique color lines.
