Picture Polish Ariel’s Tale Swatches & Review

Picture Polish Ariel’s Tale is a new glitter from the brand and perfect for those looking for a mermaid-esque shade for layering.
Ariel’s Tale has a clear base and various sizes of mermaid green glitter.

Ariel’s Tale

Ariel’s Tale over black
As you can see there are tiny hexagonal and larger hexagonal glittery chunks inside. I like that the polish isn’t too thick or clumpy. I was easily able to add two layers over a black creme without it all clumping in one area or moving all to the tip of my nails.
Availability: Picture Polish.
Pricing: AU$9.50.
What do you think about Ariel’s Tale?

Note: Picture Polish is cruelty free.

It’s really pretty! Probably would look lovely in a jelly sandwich.
I’m not so much for layering but it’s a very pretty glitter polish!

I agree with Ishah that it would look great in a jelly sandwich!
I really like the name to because secretly I really like The litte Mermaid

I am not into layering or glitter at all, but this is so pretty to look at! Glad to hear it distributes evenly on the nail as well. My previous layering experience was a bit too much fuss for my taste

When I first saw this I immediately put it on my wish list. Now that I’m seeing swatches, I’m not so sure. I recently bought some supplies so that I could try my hand at frankening, and I feel this is something that is easily duplicated. Perhaps not the exact mixture of glitters, but something fairly close.

Well, I think they nailed the color of Ariel’s tail, but I’d need it to be a little more exciting for me to buy it myself..
Such a pretty colour!
Wow over the black it is seriously gorgeous. Looks like little gem stones or something

pretty, but i wish the glitter was more dense, it still seems a little sparse even after 2 coats
Ariel’s Tale is definitely pretty but I think I am going to pass on it. I literally bought every single color in the blue, blue-green, and green range of the Orly Glam FX polishes. I can’t help but think of Orly Mermaid Tail and how beautiful it is.
Ariel’s Tale, while it is a beautiful shade, is just something my stash isn’t wanting for. Now if the hex glitters were square glitters I’d be buying two bottles of it! Definitely.
I love hex glitter but I have sooooooo many polishes that have hex glitter in them. I am dying for some true circular glitters and square glitters right now.
This looks very pretty. I always have the problem of my glitters going to the very tip so I’m glad this doesn’t because I’ve been wanting to place an order. Do you know what their shipping is like as far as times to the US? It says 3-5 days but just wondering how true that is? This is a beautiful color, especially over black!
