L’Occitane Rose des Champs Eau de Toilette Review

LOccitane Rose Des Champs LOccitane Rose des Champs Eau de Toilette Review

L’Occitane Rose des Champs Eau de Toilette is a new-ish fragrance from their En Provence line.

Let me back-up a second. I find reviewing fragrance EXTREMELY challenging because other than the way the bottle looks, there isn’t much to talk about other than what I smell. And describing a scent is so much harder than describing the way something physically looks and what it feels like. But this scent is SO me, that I felt the need to share it with you.

According to L’Occitane, this fragrance smells like the fields of Provence where the Count of Forcalquier and his daughters would go for walks. They walked through fields of wild roses which were surrounded by thousand of smaller meadow flowers.

Now I have never been to France (wah) but I can totally imagine that field of flowers and the sweet scent of roses wafting through the air.

Rose des Champs is a very flowery rose scent. But not old lady rose or strongly overpowering. It smells light and sweet. Like a modern day rose scent. See how bad I am at this? Just trust me, if you like the smell of roses in a fragrance, you will probably like this. If not, probably not.

I am also really excited that they have a hand cream in the same scent, which I might have to get!

Availability: L’Occitane.

Pricing: $45.00 for 2.5 oz.

Do you wear any L’Occitane fragrances and which are your favs?
