I hope your week treated you kindly. Mine was pretty good actually. There was a super cool announcement which I had been keeping secret since spring! And even though it was cold and mostly rainy out, it made me feel cozy being indoors. This is the time of year where I don’t feel like a complete bum when I wear fleece pants, soft sweatshirts and fuzzy slippers all day!
Makeup Geek now has a line of Gel Liners out! There are currently eleven shades being offered – some classic and some super intense and bright.
These liners come in nice glass pots and they’re water-resistant and smudge-proof. They are really creamy and it’s easy to get intense payoff with just a small amount. Let’s check some of them out.

Tarte has a new limited edition holiday set out exclusively at Ulta now called The Big Thrill. And big it is!
This purple and gold printed box contains sixteen full-sized eye shadows, a bronzer, three blushes and three full-sized lip glosses. Pop the top and you get a good sized mirror and the eye shadows. Open drawer one and you get the bronzer and blushes. Drawer two opens to reveal the lip glosses. A bit big and bulky perhaps, but pretty nonetheless.
Cult Nails has a new(ish) limited edition collection out called Deceptive. Deceptive features five new color-shifting top coats.
These top coats are all kind of awesome because you can get so many different looks from just one bottle, depending on the base color. For simple purposes, I showed them all over Cult Nails Nevermore, which is an excellent jet black creme (not included in the set of five).
For all of these swatches I used just two coats of Nevermore and one coat of the top coat.
OPI Skyfall is the latest collection from the brand just in time for holiday 2012. This collection celebrates 50 years of James Bond films as well as the new movie by the same name, which releases November 7th.
Skyfall features twelve new shades ranging from cremes to shimmers to glitters to metallics. There are some somewhat familiar shades here, but also some really unique cool ones.
