Halloween Dots with NARS Andy Warhol Nail Polish

Good morning!
This weekend I was playing around some more with my dotting tool and the new NARS Andy Warhol Nail Polish collection. That collection happens to include some great Halloween shades!
Not overly thrilled with how these came out but for my third time ever using the tool, not too bad.

Here I used NARS Back Room (jet black creme) as the base. I used two thin coats. I let it dry for 10 minutes or so then added NARS TV Party (bright orange creme) with the large end of the dotting tool. I discovered this orange isn’t quite opaque enough to use as dots because some are darker than others. Oh well!

Then I decided I wanted to add some purple, so I added NARS New York Dolls (purple creme) next to the orange dots. Not thrilled with the dot spacing or sizes. But I figure the more I play around, the better I will get.
Hope you enjoyed and have a great Monday!
-Kelly

I really like this look! It has a retro feel to it. Love the Andy Warhol polishes; I should pick up New York Dolls before its gone.
I love anything dotted and retro
They look awesome! I’ve had dotting tools for about a year and I still get the spacing off, but that’s just because I’m extremely uncoordinated. My hands don’t seem to go where I want them to so it takes double the effort

Thank you! I need to try and work on getting the same amount of polish on the tool each time, so it comes out more even.
I like it! Dots always look cool to me.

Which dotting tools are you using? I’m looking for a big one, but can only find the really small ones.
