Well as most of you know I’ve been going through some “stuff” and haven’t really had the energy to post anything. I felt bad because the 7th was my 4th blog anniversary and I had a whole week planned of great giveaways for you, my loyal readers.
I am feeling like the light is shining through the darkness a little bit now, and so here I am, posting the first of five days of giveaways! Better late than never.

I’ve actually never heard of theBalm so I am pretty exiting to try a little bit of everything and see how I like it. This is great!

I just ordered the Cabana Boy Blush. So I’m anxiously waiting for the blush to arrive. The Nude ‘Tude Eyeshadow Palette is something I have always wanted to try.

Four years, you should be very proud! Happy Blogaversary! Don’t feel bad, I missed my blogaversary too, and I still haven’t done anything about it yet except feel like a bad blog mommy. Once I realized I missed it I lost my enthusiasm for marking the occasion. I am working on it though!

I’ve actually never used any theBalm products but I’m always interested in trying new beauty products, especially if they’re cruelty free! I love all of the nail polish colors and I use black liquid liner on a daily basis and I’m always on the lookout for good black liquid liners

I’ve seen the Shady Lady palette posted several times by other bloggers as well, and I’m DYING to lay my hands on it! I’ve never seen TheBalm in stores (although I have a dire lack of proper cosmetics stores around me, womp womp…) so winning this would be stellar!

I am hesitant to say this but despite my love of the balm stuff, and three daughters who also love it, I am really commenting on my being so glad you are feeling up to blogging again. I checked on you twice today hoping you were doing better.
Have seen this brand at sephora many times- like the retro styling on their products. Haven’t tried any yet, but I love the pugs have a spot on the balms website
My first ever Sephora purchase was a theBalm lipgloss! I was in eighth grade and it was the Plump Your Pucker lip gloss in Spike My Punch, and I still have it even though it’s about… seven years old at this point? Yikes! I’ve also had my eye on the Nude ‘Tude palette for quite some time now, it looks fantastic!

I’ve been staring on the Nude Tude Palette for the longest time. I wanted to buy that since it carries really gorgeous shades and matte shadows are highly pigment based on reviews I’ve read. Also, The Balm just has the cutest and most eye catching packaging ever! Unfortunately, the beauty store that carries TheBalm products here in my country has very limited stocks. I’ve been a HUGE fan of theBalm for over a year now. I’m completely smitten with their eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks, nail polishes, and skin care. I haven’t yet been able to try any of their mascaras though and I’m super super interested in that.

The few products I’ve used from The Balm have been fairly good quality. Especially their loose eyeshadow, the shade I have is a creamy white and looks great on my browbone!
I love TheBalms packaging! It’s so fun!! I would love to try Down Boy. It’s the only blush I don’t have from them!!

I love theBalm’s tinted moisturizer! It’s really nice in texture though it does have a slight sunscreen-y scent (from the SPF i assume), but the light-medium generally suits my skin really well (I’m tan most of the year, so this only really doesn’t work in the winter) and it looks really nice! Pretty nice light coverage – doesn’t suffocate my skin .

First off, I’m glad you’re feeling better. I think we all go through funks and need a few days off from time to time. But I know we’re all glad you’re back – I mean, who can go a day without seeing new VV swatches?!
Anyway, I LOVE theBalm! (Though I often misspell balm as “blam” lol.) I’m dying to try… well, most everything! The only thing I’ve tried that you have here is the Downboy blush, which I absolutely love. I have their Balmbini palette and have hit pan on that sucker HARD. The Mary-Loumanizer, too. Such an underrated brand!
i adore the balm shelter tinted moisturizer !
I like the clever naming and am looking forward to trying the mascaras.

I actually love theBalm’s nude palette and bought it when it was on sale on HauteLook. It was my first product from this line, and I loved it. It’s a good alternative to the Naked palette, but I’m excited to try DownBoy most of all, I love blushes and because with this new puppy we’ve gotten, that’s all we’ve been saying to him. This past holiday season I bought myself a thebalm gift set from tjmaxx, it had a nail polish in Petunia, lip plumper in Passion my fruit , and bronzer in Betty Lou Manizer . I loved all three products and use them regularly. I’d love to try out more of their products particularly their blush and nail polishes… who am i kidding I’d love to try them all!!

I love the first Shady Lady Palette. It has really rich shadows that can double as liners. Huge bonus for being a cruelty-free company.
I hope you’ll feel much better very soon. I’m sure you’ve been told this before but, in case you haven’t….if need be, force yourself to eat. Maintaining blood sugar (no highs and lows) is important. Get out into the sun, even if you feel like staying under the covers. Try to take a walk. Exercise does help. Try to set a small goal (e.g. clean/organize desk drawers). Any kind of accomplishment provides a small mood boost. And, if you’re still struggling, please see your doctor. Sometimes depression has a chemical basis. Other times it’s situational and can then become chemical. As you can tell from the comments (and tweets), lots of people are pulling for you. : )

I would love to try theBalm products in general. I have my eye on the Mary Lou-manizer and Betty Lou-manizer, I heard those are pretty awesome!
I have tried a few of their products but i really wanna try their blushes because i am very pale (i use white as a highlighter) so i don’t often buy blushes because they tend to be very dark against my skin. However i have heard great things about The Balms Blushes.
I actually love skin care by theBALM. I purchased some a little while back from TJ Maxx and fell in love. So I went back and bought them out and gave it as birthday presents.
I love their polish and cheek stain. The cheek stain is always the perfect flush color my cheeks naturally get.

I haven’t tried any theBalm products, and I’m dying to get their eyeshadow aplettes!
I live in Adelaide, Australia, and we only have one stockist of theBalm here. Every time I go into this particular store I spend so long swatching all of theBalm products and marvelling at their textures, pigmentation and beautiful, quirky packaging. However (as everyone already knows) the mark up over here is ridiculous (about 2x-3x higher!) and my bank account just can’t handle the damage I’d like to do. From my swatching I can tell that I’d LOVE the nude’tude palette and blushes – they have such buttery smooth textures and beautiful colours.
Congrats on having such a long-lived and popular blog. This giveaway is fantastic.

I used to have a blush from theBalm that was my favorite ever for summer, but then Sephora stopped carrying them in stores (or at least mine) and I couldn’t find it anywhere near me once I ran out

I think one of the things that drew me to The Balm is their tongue & cheek sense of humor with naming things and the great art they use on their products. I just recently got my first few items from them (The Nude ‘Tude palette: Naughty Version, Shady Lady palettes 1-3, and 4 polishes) & while I’m still kind of trying them out, I’m already loving pretty much everything about them.
Thanks so much the the generous giveaway. Just an fyi, but if I actually won, I’d give the duplicate products to a friend of mine that also suffers from depression. We both are on fixed incomes, which doesn’t help the depression sometimes, and find that looking nice, with assistance from cosmetics
, helps a lot to get us through.

I have tried a few lipsticks and a blush but as I am in Canada its quite hard to find theBalm unless you have a Rexall/Pharmaplus (with a beauty boutique) near you which I do not. I would really love to try some eyeshadows.

I’ve never seen any theBalm products in my neck of the woods, so I’m curous about everything, really! At first glance, that sparkly pink polish definitely interests me!
I’ve got the Balm’s concealer “TimeBalm” and it’s pretty good. Not *great*, but it was one of the few concealers I found without silicones, which means I can use it over my whole face. I never did get to purchase their sparkly, loose eyeshadows from Sephora before they were yanked, but I remember them swatching really well. I’d love to try their eyeshadow palettes!
