Today, I went out of the house without makeup.
This may seem silly because, well, this IS a makeup giveaway. But I went out all day without makeup, and I felt perfectly fine. A little insecure at first, but it was…okay. Makeup shouldn’t be a mask. I’m glad I’m not to the point where makeup is an everyday musthave.

Mac is the best makeup I’ve ever used, you can go from princess look, natural, dramatic wear, wild child, fierce diva, barbie, you name it with their makeup! Benefit can hide those “time of the month” evils and blemishes! You got the whole package with both. Anyways I luv your blog on how you mix not just expensive makeup but also more affordable ones to balance out the checkbook

Sad confession, I have no MAC stuff. I prefer to get most makeup in person, so I can see ‘for real’ what colors look like. The only place I’m aware of to buy MAC is at Macy’s and the MAC girls are, frankly quite snobbish. They always either flat out ignore me, say they’ll be back and never return. I’m not sure if they feel I’m not pretty enough, not young enough or can’t afford to spend a lot of money (I am usually dressed like a schlub).

The Benefit Porefessional is similar to Estee Lauder Idealist? I tried it at Sephora and the texture looked similar… but at a fraction of EL price!

Those MAC shadow/liners look great, I normaly use powder eyeshadow, but I’d love to give those a try
