Urban Decay Feminine, Dangerous & Fun Palettes for Holiday 2012 Swatches & Photos

Urban Decay Feminine Dangerous Fun Palettes Urban Decay Feminine, Dangerous & Fun Palettes for Holiday 2012 Swatches & Photos

New this holiday season from Urban Decay are the Feminine, Dangerous and Fun Palettes.

These three zip-around clutch-like palettes each feature six eyeshadow shades and a mini Lip Junkie Lip Gloss. And here’s something even cooler. You can remove the eyeshadow “platform”, which is magnetized, to use the pouch part as a purse if you want. The palette feels super sturdy and you could definitely use it as a purse without worrying about it falling apart.

  • All of these palettes are so much fun! I still don’t know if I want to own any though. I like Dangerous the most but already own 3 of the 6 shades. But then again the palette has great value, so maybe… ;)

  • Just repeats and repeats.
    Boring.

    Have fun going downhill, UD.
Stay away from eyeshadow palettes & work on something else.

It does seem like they can’t produce anything other than eye shadows and liners that stay in their permanent lineup for a good length of time. Their lip products are constantly changing and they seem to clear out their face and cheek products fast too, although these Naked foundations look promising.

Still, these shadows aren’t drawing me in. They look very familiar.

      August 24, 2012
      • They look familiar since they’ve released most of them already. D:

Their cream blushes are really good, in my opinion. The pigmentation is nice and they don’t drag, but they do clear their products out pretty often, like you said. :(

Exactly what I thought. I have the old Fun palette, and the colors in this one are almost exactly the same. Like, are they kidding? Did they give an explanation as to why they just repackaged the same old palettes from like a year ago? Urban Decay is seriously the laziest brand.

  • I can’t get enough of Urban Decay’s eyeshadows! These palettes are all so fun and cute like you said! I think Feminine is my favourite :)

  • Ooh the Dangerous palette kind of reminds me of a mini Smoked palette, I might have to snatch it up!

It almost is, ha ha. They both have loaded, evidence, and mushroom. If you do get that palette, gravity, mushroom, and ace are really awesome colors!!

Good Lord, Urban Decay, why are you coming out with so much cool shiz??? I think I like the Feminine one the best, but the swatches of the palettes sure look purty all together!!!

My thoughts exactly, ha ha! I really want the feminine and fun palette. And the liner set looks promising. Also, the byop with rock looks super pretty and that color sounds awesome, but I haven’t seen swatches of it yet.

    Ooooooh those are super cute!

  • The colors on Dangerous remind me a lot of the Smoked palette and it has to be my faovurite one!
Do the colors look a lot like last years palettes of the same name or is it just me?

    August 24, 2012
    • Three of them are the same (Mushroom, Loaded and Evidence).

      August 24, 2012
  • So pretty! I love this new zipped up style, its super convient.

Very cute packaging. Love the colors in Feminine. Also love the 24/7 liners in your previous post; nice collections of colors.

I want them all! The colors are gorgeous!

  • Dangerous makes me think of a lighter, less black-based version of the UD Black Palette. It’d be a nice alternative for sure.

  • The “new” shades aren’t even really new. They’re more like re-promotes. Their Feminine, Dangerous & Fun palettes never drew me in, and these don’t either. Hoping for better palettes in the future though!

I love them all, I’m deeply fond of UD and I happen to like everything of this brand! I’ve got almost all of the eyeshadows I’ve seen here (except a couple of them, and the new ones of course), but if I have to choose, I would pick the Fun palette for the shades and the Feminine one for the packaging…. <3

I wish they had changed the names for these palettes, I have the old Fun & Dangerous palettes and it could cause confusion having different products with identical names. They should’ve added a “2″ like they did with the Naked palettes.

  • So exciting to see all the holiday offerings coming out! The shadow palettes aren’t calling to me, but the pencils definitely are.

  • These really are fun palettes! :) I’ve been paying more attention to Urban Decay’s eye shadows ever since they’ve reformulated them. Now a lot of the shades I like don’t contain an ingredient that I’m allergic to. I’ll need to check the ingredients on these palettes. Hopefully it doesn’t have that one ingredient and I can finally enjoy an Urban Decay palette! :D

  • They are all so adorable! I’d already decided that I like the Fun palette casing/bag the most from outside appearances and it’s awesome to see that I also like the colours in that palette the best as well (minus the shimmery lip gloss). :)

To be honest, I *like* the shadow colours in Dangerous the best, but I’d wear the Fun ones more. ;)

Unless I’m completely in love with the palette I can’t justify spending that much money. I’m not completely sold on any of those. I like the third one, but unless it’s on sale I won’t be buying any of these.

What is it with vegan/cruelty free brands and shimmery eyeshadow? Do, they never make any mattes. I know UD makes matte singles, but to my eyes they’re rarely ever in palettes. The only one that made Mattes was too faced and that was a whole palette of mattes, which doesn’t work for me.

    August 27, 2012
  • Jen_m_Sunshine

I am torn on getting the new smoked palette or maybe the fun or dangerous. I love the look of mushroom and would like to add some color to my endless supply of neutral eye palettes. I only have the UD Naked2 palette but several from other brands.

VV- any recommendations on a great grey eye shadow? One w shimmer and one matte? BTW, you always look UH-mazing!! I love your looks lately and your haircut looks great!

  • Lily

Ack! LOVE all of these! They are just so pretty! And I would totally use them as little purses too! :D

I was drawn to Fun initially but then realized I already owned half of the eye shadow shades so that one is a no for me. :/ The Feminine set looks lovely but…I think the Dangerous set might be my favorite. I love the jewel tones paired with metal tones! Looks gorgeous!

Dangerous is my least favorite packaging wise (though I love the roses and shadows on the inside!) so I probably wouldn’t use it as a purse. Feminine is my favorite packaging wise – love the purples and the patterns (lace, fushmet). Fun is…well, fun! Love the sparkly teal with the golden octopus and the colorful octopus print inside!
