Question of the Week
Happy Friday!
How was your week? Mine was pretty good, busy though. Here are the highlights and lowlights:
- Office is 99% complete now. Just waiting to install a really cool “chandelier” then I’ll post pics!
- Chewy was stung by a bee and his paw/arm swelled up. He’s fine now!
- I had new cable installed (goodbye AT&T Uverse) and now have HBO again! This means I can catch up on Game of Thrones season 2, The Ricky Gervais Show, Newsroom, Girls and True Blood season 5. Although I heard it’s not very good anymore…
- Today I am headed to the CIA for lunch with a friend. Not the Central Intelligence Agency (I wish), but the Culinary Institute of America in the Napa Valley. I shall be taking many-a-photo of the food we eat.
As you can see I live a VERY exciting life! 
In other news the 25th anniversary of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week starts August 12th! I have been watching for a really long time, like maybe 15+ years now. I’m always excited for it.
What nail color are you obsessed with right now?
I feel myself REALLY wanting it to be fall because all the nail shades I am attracted to are deep shimmery brows and reds. Anything that looks like it’s glowing is what I want to wear now.

Weird as it is, GOLD! I’ve been eyeing some gold polishes for a while now, but besides the gold base in the Dior Crocodile Effect set I haven’t laid my hands on any! I think my next should be Butter London The Full Monty

I loooove the new Season of True Blood, so enjoy!:) My love for teal and turquoise is still going strong, we’ve been having a shitty summer (weatherwise) so I’m still trying to get that summery feeling from somewhere.:)
It’s ridiculous but I have been wearing different shades of blue for the past 3 weeks. And I don’t even like blue polish that much!

I’ve been obsessed with blues and purples, but I’ve always been obsessed with them. I agree though that I’m really looking forward to fall and dark colors!
Have a great meal at the CIA! I live near the CIA in New York and people always think it’s the government agency, not the Culinary, haha. Maybe one day I’ll make it the one in Napa Valley so I can have some great wine!

I Loved Girls! Game of Thrones was good too. Hope you enjoy all the shows! Orange is probably my favorite new color family, and the variations on it go from summer to fall fabulously!
Oh no! I’m glad Chewy is ok after the bee-sting, my dog got stung a couple years ago and it was scary how much it swelled up.
Yess shark week! I’m like you and have been watching it for a long time, I have it inputted into my phone and everything, haha

I’m obsessed with the new Zoya Fall collections. Even though it’s August I’m feeling the darker fall colours too. Gonna stick it out with the summery colours a tad longer though

I too have been really into Fall colors. I had to force myself to put on Essie’s Sand Tropez last night. I love the color, but put down several brown’s and deep reds that my eye is going toward these days. Must be the rain we’re experiencing in Michigan…feels like Fall.
Right now Im obsessed with neons!! Even the crackle. Neon is all I want to wear.

I am still in love with neons too… especially searing pink ones. I just picked up China Glaze Pool Party and am in love! I don’t think I’ll be taking it off my toes until Christmas! hehe
We are huge Game of Thrones fans! No HBO at our house though, but we’re impatiently waiting on the Season 2 Blu-rays to be released. I think we watched all of Season 1 in a few days–it’d be like 11 p.m., both of us having to be up at 5a.m. or before for work the next day, and he’d be like “one more?” and I’d reply “YES!”. That was a long week at work. ^_^

I’m very disappointed in True Blood right now, season’s almost over and I feel like nothing has really happened yet. I don’t want to be underwhelmed when they fail to tie in the 65 storylines they have going on. It’s still better than the last two seasons, but not as good as the first.
I recently got Netflix and thought about you since I made it a point to start watching Sons of Anarchy
I don’t really know which colors I’m craving. Nudes and darker polishes are what I’ve worn recently. I’m not really feeling all the fall collections yet… I was all about the vamps before and now I’m just meh.

I love Shark Week! I remember being in 2nd grade and watching Jaws for the 1st time and LOVING it. My brothers were afraid but I just wanted to watch it again and again. At the end of the school year when my teacher asked what we wanted to do over the summer….I said “swim with sharks”

Ack! Shark Week! It’s the bane of my existence. I have an intense shark phobia (I blame seeing JAWS when I was little for this). I mean, when I fly across an ocean, I don’t worry than the plane will crash… I worry that the plane will crash, I’ll survive, but then SHARKS will get me. That’s the extent of my phobia.
Anyways, I feel you on the fall nail lacquer coming on- I’m beginning to gravitate towards deep glowy coppers and reds. Kind of excited for fall to come (not too soon, though!).

I am obsessed with fuchsia/magentas…which is not a suprise if you knew me. Oranges/corals fall into a close 2nd right now – kind of moving out of my neon phase but sure will sport them a # more times before weather changes. I cannot bear to put any fall shades on yet – way too hot and am running in short-shorts most of the time now. However that said, seems where I live, fall is the shortest season and yet the one I love the colors for (polish and clothing) the most! We have summer that seems to last into late Oct…then short fall and pouf it’s holiday. I tend to wear fall shades after holiday just to get more wear out of ‘em when I am bundled up in fleece however – no one seems my toes at least in ‘em but for me.
Enjoy catching up on True Blood.. Love the show even if the storyline gets lost sometimes..
Anywhooo.. I’m LOVING lime greens at the moment.. That’s all I want to wear but I have to stop myself because they stain. I recently picked up Llamasqua Radium after seeing your swatch and I’m in love.

For nail colour, I’m always obsessed with green, however, I’ve been really interested in oranges lately!
