I know I’m rushing the seasons aren’t I? But lately I have really been wanting fall to hurry up and arrive. I’m already excited for Halloween!

The sad thing is summer doesn’t really even get to the Bay Area until August, and our hottest months are now through October. So while everyone else is getting cool and wearing cozy sweaters, boots and tights, we are all sweating to death.

That being said I did a somewhat autumn-esque look while trying out one of the Too Faced Poreless Primers, so I figured I might as well show it!

Remember when I posted Estee Lauder Viper recently? Well I made the mistake of searching swatch photos for shades from the new Pure Color Metal Mania Nail Lacquer collection and then somehow wound up buying four of them! Oops.

Now let me say that it’s a bit confusing which shade belongs to either the Beyond Black or Metal Mania collections. According to Estee Lauder’s website, the shades in Metal Mania are Smashed Exlploif, Chaos, Fiery Hot and Nouveau Riche and Beyond Black include Viper, Blue Blood, Black Plum, Caviar and Bete Noire. But on Nordstrom’s site under Metal Mania they also include Tempestuous, which isn’t listed on Estee’s site and they omit Bete Noire from the Beyond Black section. Confusing I know!

Too Faced Primed Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primers come in three different types. Did you know that? I think it’s pretty cool since most brands tend to just have one or two.

These primers come in a Bronze Tint with SPF 20, a Pure oil-free version for sensitive skin and the classic Primed Poreless version. All three of them do a great job of helping to hide your pores and smooth out skin before foundation or BB Creams. But there are subtle differences between them.

Sonia Kashuk’s Nail Colours for fall 2012 come in five new rich jewel tones and metallic shimmers. And of course, they are exclusive to Target.

• Hocus Pocus – rich purple (not shown)
• Emerald City – emerald green
• All Vamped Up – aubergine (not shown)
• Two Cents – metallic copper
• Dime a Dozen – metallic gunmetal

The formula was really great for the three I tried out. They are thick but not sticky, smooth and you only need two coats to cover completely.
