MAC Styleseeker for Fall 2012 Swatches & Review
MAC Styleseeker for fall 2012 is a collection that reflects the “spirit and style of a global wanderer”. It’s a somewhat small collection featuring a lot of reds, oranges and earthy tones. It definitely feels like fall.
Included are four Eye Shadow x 2 palettes (Culturized, Marché Aux Puces, On The Hunt, Whims & Fancies), four Fludilines (Dark Diversion, Rich Ground, Local Wares, Blacktrack), five Mattene Lipsticks (Fun Finds, Delectable, Eden Rouge, Fashion Nomad, Camden Chic), four Lipglasses (C-Thru, Eclectic Edge, Ready to Roam, Restless), three Powder Blushes (Supercontinental, Wordly Wealth, Hidden Treasure) and three Nail Lacquers (Styleseeker, Mean & Green, Gadabout Girl).

Chessa, Indie Spirit (over primer), Hidden Treasure, Ready to Roam, Eden Rouge
Chessa is a orange/gold shimmer. Really pretty warm color and nice payoff. Almost looks like a gold/orange/yellow duochrome.
Indie Spirit is a medium warm brown matte. Pretty patchy, poor payoff.
Hidden Treasure is a deep burnt red with slight shimmer. Good payoff but I think maybe TOO pigmented for my fair skin.
Ready to Roam is a bright cherry red with shimmer. Gorgeous shade!
Eden Rouge is a bright blue-toned red. Amazing texture, payoff and shade. Perfect bright red!

Styleseeker
Styleseeker is a shimmery orange/red duochrome. The formula was pretty decent, a little on the thick side. I did use three thin coats here.
Gadabout Girl
Gadabout Girl is a very dark purple creme. It’s not easy to tell here but this was really uneven, and even after three coats there are spots that are balder than others.
Overall: Of the things I tried I highly recommend both Ready to Roam Lipglass and Eden Rouge Mattene Lipstick if you love reds. Styleseeker Nail Lacquer is pretty, but I would pass on Gadabout Girl.

Eden Rouge and Gadabout Girl are my favorite pieces! Gadabout Girl is such a lovely fall shade <3 Too bad you had issues with it

Ready to Roam is pretty cool! What I want the most from this collection is Supercontinental. I love corals/oranges in general, and it’d be great to have one that’s more autumn-y than summery!

Eden Rouge and Ready to Roam are the only two that catch my attention because I love reds, but they aren’t all that special or unique.

While Styleseeker is a beautiful shade and would be lovely for my collection, I don’t think I would have a lot of people asking for it in my salon. Ill pass on this collection.
I think I see a Venomous Villains repromote, Mean and Green nail polish is the duochrome that looks like Orly Space Cadet, no?

I bought the Supercontinental blush and Camden Chic lipstick… but I love the way Eden Rouge looks. I’m disappointed that Gadabout Girl is patchy– it’s such a lovely vampy shade. But you’re the second blogger to report this so it’s a definitely pass. There are enough similar colors out there for less money!
