Glitter Gal Duo Chromes Swatches, Photos & Review
Happy Monday morning!
Glitter Gal has six new Duo Chromes out and they are something to behold. These new polishes are very metallic and most have a really strong duo chrome effect. Actually some are multi chromes. You know those polishes that look totally cool in the bottle then not so much on the nail? These are nothing like that. 
I have four of the six and loved them all. Because they are super subtle and sheer on their own, I swatched them all over two coats of a black creme. Each of them is just one coat over the black.

Distorted Platinum is a silvery/lavender/green in the bottle. This one is really amazing and the strongest multi chrome of the four I tried out. It flashes silver, lavender, pink, green and blue-ish depending on the lighting. Gorgeous.

Warped Teal looks green/blue/purple in the bottle. On the nail it’s mostly different shades of green with strong yellow/gold shimmer. I love the shimmery emerald green it is in the above pic. This was the least duo chromatic for me of the four though.

Contorted Mauve looks purple/blue/green/silver in the bottle and on the nail. Really nice multi chrome effect with this one.

Hell-Bent Blue looks blue/purple/green in the bottle and on the nail it’s various shades of blue and green.

Overall: These are really nice duo/multi chromes. I especially love Distorted Platinum and Contorted Mauve because they have more of that multi chrome effect. They look amazing over black, but might be even cooler over a blue/purple/pink/green base. I only needed one coat for all of them to get that amazing effect and metallic shimmer.

Oh my God these are INSANE! I want all of them but particularly Contorted Mauve. They’re really pretty unique, and thanks for all the pictures that show us how they look in different angles/light!

These are so cool – both in the bottle and on the nail ! I think that Hell-Bent Blue is my favourite with Contorted Mauve a close second. Great swatches! If these were on my nails I don’t think I would get much done…I’d be too busy staring!

I agree, I wish they were less expensive also.
I know it doesn’t help the sting of the price any, but to make a bit more sense of it, that’s about average price for most polishes here in Australia. Revlon polish goes for about $15 and OPI about $20.
Moving back to Australia after living in the US for 6 years made me and my wallet sad haha.
Love the swatches, I would just be staring at my nails constantly!
More than what I like to spend on nail polishes but distorted platinum looks absolutely gorgeous!

Distorted Platinum is jaw-droppingly gorgeous! I love it. And quite unique as far as duochromes go, it seems to me. Contorted Mauve actually reminds me a bit of Zoya Ki.

I can’t see myself spending that much on a nail polish, but they are really unique shades. I like the platinum. If I knew I’d wear it often, the fact that the company is cruelty-free does make me more inclined to pay the high price tag. I’d rather support their products at a higher price than buy a cheaper dupe that’s tested on animals.
