theBalm Hot Ticket Nail Polish Swatches & Review

Did you know that theBalm now has 31 shades of nail polish? I sure didn’t until very recently!
Hot Ticket Nail Polish is a newer product from them, and the colors I tried didn’t disappoint.
You can find Hot Ticket Polish in a wide range of colors and finishes and they also have a base coat, top coat and quick dry top coat.
I found the formula with these to be really good. I didn’t have any issues with any of them. Perfect consistency and pigmentation, and nearly all were two coats!

Coral Reef-ined
Coral Reef-ined is a pale pinky/coral creme. What I absolutely LOVE about this shade is that it isn’t a typical coral. The pinky/peachy nature of it makes it different from most other corals I have. It’s not very orange. It’s nearly pastel looking, but not chalky looking at all. It’s incredibly flattering on my skin tone, as soon as I applied it I fell in love. This was two coats.

Call Me Iridescent
Call Me Iridescent is a pale pink with iridescent glitter. The base shade is pale but did build up after three coats. The glitter is very fine in texture but heavy. Very sparkly! This was three coats.

Sky Blue Right Past You
Sky Blue Right Past You is a sky blue creme. This is a really pretty crisp pale blue shade. It might not be that unique, but it’s a really nice formula and great light blue.

Lets Make a Teal
Lets Make a Teal is a deep and murky green teal creme. This was one I thought would just be kind of ok from what I saw in the bottle, but it turned out to be one of my favs here. I love how deep and shiny it is. This is a great shade of teal, I think it’s a little more unique than others I have. Great formula, just two coats!

I Take My Coffee Matte and Black
I Take My Coffee Matte and Black is a black matte. This is a really great black matte if you’re looking for one. It’s actually more of a satin-y matte rather than a typical flat matte. It doesn’t look chalky or “dry”. It dries really quickly, and is totally opaque in two coats.
Overall: From what I saw I was really impressed! Sometimes you don’t expect a company that wasn’t previously ever making nail polish to start making really good ones right off the bat, but these really are nice. Good quality, nice bottles, nice shade selection. I especially love Coral Reef-ined and Lets Make a Teal.
Availability: theBalm.
Pricing: $10.00 for 0.5 oz.
What do you think about theBalm Hot Ticket Nail Polishes? Have you tried them yet?

I love Coral Reef-ined! I used to hate wearing colors even remotely related to pink, but for whatever reason this summer I’ve been craving these kinds of pinkish corals!

I saw some Balm polishes in a set at TJ Maxx, but I didn’t get them because the colors seemed kind of blah. I have a feeling they would have looked better on the nail than they did in the bottle. I should have got them – they were a steal.

When I first saw these I thought they were relabeled New York Summer polishes, but now I don’t think so. They definitely look better on the nail than in the bottle. Could you do a vs. post between Let’s Make a Teal and NYS Amaranth? I know the finishes are different, but I was wondering about the color.
Coral Reef-ined is really pretty. I like that it’s more peach than pink coral. I have one these in the color I’ll Pink To That. I like them, they wear really well.

Can’t wait to see if these will make it to the Balm stand over here.
I especially love the look of Coral Reef-ined as it’s the *exact* colour of my favourite summer lipstick from Make Up Store called First Kiss.

I saw The Balm nail polishes sold on HauteLook once, but I didn’t buy any. Was really curious about the formula and the colours, though. Thanks for reminding me about them.

My local beauty store in Petaluma just started stocking these! I bought coral refined and a couple of others. I’m a huge polish fiend but this has quickly become a new favorite formula, for whatever reason it lasts the longest. I’m definitely going to buy more, I love that they are also an SF based company and have a great retro motif.
Their formula is excellent! I splurged on 10 bottles at one go and I have no regrets.
I picked up Better Off Red in a blog sale a while ago, and it is a *gorgeous* ruby red creme polish. I’d definitely get more by them.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Let’s Make A Teal! That polish needs to be mine!

Let’s Make a Teal actually looks like it might be a dupe for MAC’s Deep Sea? I really hope so!
Kelllyyyyy – I take a tech break and you are swatching all these things I must have!
The teal is wonderful and I love the chicky on the bottle too.
I want to get hold of these, where’s the best place to get them from?. I love Lets Make A Deal x
