Orly Flagstone Rush Swatches & Photos
Orly Flagstone Rush is a polish that wasn’t part of my stash until recently. I’m not sure HOW she escaped me previously, but now she’s mine!
Once upon a time the only “metal” like shade of nail polish I wore was silver. Boy have times changed. Now silver is actually my least favorite metal shade. I prefer coppers, bronzes and cool-toned golds now.
This is one definitely worth owning if you don’t already.
Flagstone Rush
Flagstone Rush is a deep copper metallic with shimmer. It’s a very red/brown copper and almost too dark to be one, but I still classify it as one. It’s not really a summer shade, more of a fall shade. Actually scratch that. It’s a great shade for summer! The formula is really nice also. It’s pretty much completely streak-free, smooth and applies so easily. Just two coats to perfection.

Do you own this shade already? I picked it up at a drugstore recently and think it was around $5.00 or so.

You’re not kidding, I’ve got to have it, all I am thinking of now is copper pots hanging in an old farmhouse and wanting that copper on my fingers!

I’m the same way! I was very anti-warm shades for so long but now I’m loving them! I wonder if it’s because I became more open to new colors or if it’s because the warm toned shades being made now are simply more wearable. Hmmm…I feel like it’s a little of both maybe? And how on earth did I not know about this polish?! Seriously gorgeous!!!
I like this on you, but it reminds me a lot of China Glaze’s Harvest Moon which I have and love, also reminds me of Revlon’s Copper Penny too. I really love this with your complexion though, so I definitely see why you wanted it for your stash!

At first glance, the first photo looks to be a creme. And I thought, what? Kelly doesn’t like cremes, what happened?!!
But on your swatches, I see that it is a metal finish and it looks very nice.
